Cross dressing

My husband told me of his cross dressing at the beginning of our relationship. I have accepted this from the start and would not have it any other way. I have the best of both worlds, a man in the full sense of the word and my best girl friend in one. A man for all the heavy jobs and my girlfriend for advice on clothes etc and girly nights in. Is anyone else lucky enough to have a similar relationship

Thanks Hildagard. I am pleased that you are happy with the situation.

If cross-dressing was more accepted then maybe fewer young people wishing to change gender might not feel so pressured in that direction; being accepted in either persona with no fuss and bother.

Gender stereotypes are simply unhelpful.

I had a friendship with a cross dresser, not a relationship, for over 8 years it was warm kind and mutually beneficial x

A good friend’s husband is a cross dresser. His taste is good and money isn’t a problem, so he’s fairly convincing when dressed. At work, he’s a man and at home he’s a ‘man in a frock’ and prefers a female name - he doesn’t want to change sex.
He and my friend have found The Beaumont Society useful for meeting up with similar singles and couples for events and functions, which give all a chance to mix and talk about their (often secret) situations should they want to.

Grayson Perry (Sir) and his wife seem to manage their relationship very well.

My friend’s husband (her second marriage, his first) is a cross dresser. He told her on her 40th birthday and she’s fully supportive and they love shopping together. As soon as he’s home from work he changes and becomes his alter ego. Any outings and holidays are always as ‘ladies’ although he has no desire to be one.
I know they found the Beaumont Society social gatherings good, in the early days.
