Anyone else finding difficulty in getting the flu jab this year? My own GP practice can't give me an appointment until early November and 3 pharmacies I tried have run out and are having problems getting new supplies.

I rang our surgery to book mine and DH's yesterday. The earliest appointment was November. Not due to shortages but because they are so busy.

No, fine in my bit of Norfolk. My surgery chased me!

No problem here in the NE, had ours on Thursday. We got the one with the booster for the oldies.

We have had a lot of trouble. The surgery offered two Saturdays. The first time they ran out of vaccine. Now three weeks later when we were supposed to go again they still haven't got any vaccine and we have each been given an individual appointment in the middle of November.

Forgot to say that I am in Berkshire.

We’re in Somerset. Had a booked appointment at Boots for earlier this week. Pharmacist said he had two doses left of the over 65 vaccine after ours. Not sure when he could get more. He said supplier was ‘holding it back’.

As I had a routine nurses appointment yesterday I was offered the flu jab. I missed the job lot last week and was fearful I wouldn’t get mine before my holidays on the 24th of this month. My mind is now at rest.

Husband had his flu jab cancelled as the supplier had let them down. We are still waiting to hear about another appointment.

I rang yesterday and was told there is a walk-in flu jab clinic this morning, so I’m off later.

I received confirmation texts and emails for the pharmacy appointments but when I got there was told there was no vaccine available.

Haven’t had it yet, but booked it for next week, no problems were raised. That was with the nurse (GP’s)

Our surgery holds walk in sessions so no problem at all. My daughter booked an appointment at the local Boots

No problem at my surgery. Son and myself are booked to have ours next Wednesday.

No problem here...North Somerset.

Our surgery has had walk in clinics on Saturdays for a few weeks. Went very smoothly no queuing. Had bad flu over last Christmas didn’t/couldn’t get out of bed so decided to have jag this year. I’m in Northumberland.

I am in North Somerset - my GP can't give an appointment until November and the pharmacies I have tried have said they have run out and are having problems getting more.

Had mine yesterday, S London sunburns. Swollen, sore and itchy arm, but that’s nothing in the grand scheme of things. This was the trivalent vaccine, given to over 65s.

Bellanonna Sun 14-Oct-18 14:20:58

Sunburns? I think not. Wet and windy here in the suburbs
