Good morning from the NE, we have gale force winds which made it a noisy night. Wore ear plugs and managed to sleep.

Good morning from yet another fairly sunny Autumnal day from the edge of West London. Not a lot planned today other than a pile of ironing. Off to the gym later to do my 40 minute routine, about the most I can manage, but little and often is better than nothing.

Congratulations on your 47th Wedding Anniversary NanKate, hope you enjoy your day with a glass or two of or bubbly even.

Blue45Saphire we went to the NMA earlier this year and were quite blown away by it. Impressive, very moving, superb.

Many congratulations NanKate, have a happy day. It is dry and reasonably bright here. I am going to make a quiche this morning, then out volunteering this afternoon. We have new, young neighbours, which is lovely as the house has been empty for a while.

Morning All! not late up but had an 8:00 am blood test, filled car with petrol and then popped to DDs house to feed cats as she is away for a couple of niggts with DGDs! It is still grey & chilly here..neefd to think of something to do today as had day clear on standby for GGSs but their dad is home today so we can stand down!

Good morning everyone. Bit grey in Northampton this morning.

Been busy in the Sapphire household this morning - getting two DGDs up, washed and dressed, then bacon butties for them. Feed the cats, get myself ready for day trip out, DS arriving in a few minutes to pick up the girls and very kindly giving me a lift to coach pick-up point.

I'm off to the National Memorial Arboretum today, so should be interesting. I have some friends who live near there, and they are meeting me there, which will be lovely.

Good morning from a dull Black Country, after another glorious sunny day yesterday.

I didn't wake up until 8am this morning, after going to bed just before 11. So that is 9 hours sleep!

I enjoyed my 2 hour walk yesterday, and hope to go often on Mondays.

Not sure what i am doing today, but it will no doubt involve going for a walk to town a I love being out in this lovely autumn weather especially if the sun does shine.

I need to get a sofa throw for the winter that goes with our new colour scheme....must keep my feet warm!

Work (if it can be called that - it's more like a social event-i run a day centre for the over 60s) this afternoon, for sandwiches, crisps, pork pie and cakes.

Brother and SIL visiting today and we have DGS for an hour or two whilst DD goes to an appointment. Will visit a local(ish) patchwork shop this afternoon. Managed to get all food prepared yesterday so hopefully can relax and enjoy.

Congratulations Nankate?. We are off out to to look for cushions our sofas which are due to be delivered this afternoon. (DH hates cushions, so I will have to compromise )
As we still have no cooker, we will also have lunch out. The tiler hopes to start the floor today and we will hopefully be on the home run at last!

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A grey one today in South Yorkshire. We are supposed to be reorganising our main flower bed today; I am going off the idea by the minute! It was my idea, but now it just seems like a big job I don’t want to tackle! DS is coming down for a football match this evening - meat and potato pie has been requested. Happy Anniversary, NanKate! Good morning everyone. Still dark but dry in East Northants. I'm in shock after sleeping right through the night without waking once - first time for years! Taking granddaughter and her five year old and one year old to Ikea today. Should I be excited or afraid - very afraid! Have a good day everyone.
