I think there are many women having babies in their mid forties, we have grown daughters who waited until their late thirties to have babies, the only fly in the ointment is that we were in our late sixties when they needed help with the little ones and are in our mid seventies now with small children who are like little dynamos. Is tough when grandparents are too old to be as helpful as they’d like to be though on the plus side we were retired and so could perhaps be more flexible with her time.
