Glad I could help, Nonnie. I’ll pop over to their website myself now and check out the latest deals. smile

Thanks that's really helpful. I'll go online and order a set for each of them.

I haven't seen the Magformers myself ( we don't live close by) but I understand two of my GC love them. The GC are a girl aged 18mths and a boy of 4yrs and it's something they play with together, which is a bonus. My son was v pleased about that!

Yes! We bought big sets for each of our grandsons last Christmas after seeing how popular they were in one of the play tents at Geronimo, the children’s festival. Children from 2 to around 11 were all zooming in on the Magformers area. Our three eldest boys were 5, 4 and 2 then and they’ve had a lot of play with them since, so I’d definitely recommend. In fact, we’re thinking of adding to them this year, maybe going for sets with motors, lights, etc this time. They’re very well made and robust - I looked at cheaper versions but the reviews weren’t that good. To my mind they’re a bit like Lego, in that they’re something that’ll grow with the boys and that they’ll always come back to. We bought ours from the official Magformers site, where they often have half price offers. Hope this helps. smile

Bouncing this back again in case anyone now looking can tell me of their experience.

Does anyone know anything about them? Would you recommend for the GS? They seem to be for age 18 months + and 3 years+, what happens after that? Are they good play value? Thanks
