Tesco vouchers

As a regular Tesco shopper, in previous years I have always received money off vouchers from Tesco, at various times of the year, but certainly for the weeks leading up to and including Christmas and New Year. They were for £9 or even £12 off a big shop and I found them very useful for the Christmas shopping.
These aren't the clubcard vouchers, but money off ones.
This year I haven't got any. Have I been missed out, or have they stopped sending them to everyone? (A third possibility is that I did receive them but DH has chucked them out!)

Just realised I haven't had any for a while either!

Me neither - I hadn't noticed until I read your post

I've received some from Waitrose.

Anniebach Mon 17-Dec-18 13:35:32

I received them, £12. £8. £8.

I've not had any.

Bikerhiker Mon 17-Dec-18 13:39:13

I did not receive any.

I received mine , I think it was about three or four weeks ago .

Perhaps I didn't spend enough in there

I got £9.00 recently

I haven't had any either but received a 500 nectar point voucher from Sainsburys.

I received a £10 off a £70 spend from Tesco the other day and have more to use for the coming weeks.
This is the third set of vouchers in the last few months.

I haven't had any for ages but rarely shop there any more. I tend to use Ocado these days and give vouchers but as I don't have a regular shopping pattern I find they expire before I use them.

I still get them. I'm quite disappointed that M&S no longer send me occasional 20% off vouchers as I have a Sparks card. Other people still get them.

Jalima1108 Mon 17-Dec-18 15:17:21

I have a ~Sparks card but so far have not discovered what it's for as I've never received anything at all nor seen any advantage.

Nandalot Mon 17-Dec-18 15:32:39

I’ve got a code for 300;extra Tesco points but no vouchers. We do online shopping and I think you only get the vouchers if you haven’t shopped there for a while to encourage you back.

GrandmaKT Mon 17-Dec-18 16:02:16

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I guess our shopping habits have changed since I retired, so we don't use Tesco as much, but I still do a big shop there every few weeks. I presume I'm somehow not hitting whatever it is that generates the vouchers!

KatyK Mon 17-Dec-18 17:09:59

Jalima the Sparks card is an odd one. They email me to tell me I have 'earned' discounts on this and that but I have no idea how to redeem them.

Marydoll Mon 17-Dec-18 17:20:32

KatyK, the Sparks discount automatically comes off at the till or if you shop online, it comes off before you pay.

EllanVannin Mon 17-Dec-18 17:51:14

Certain foods in M&S where there are discounts you'll benefit with your Sparks card. I'm hoping there might be some on Christmas Eve.

Jalima1108 Mon 17-Dec-18 18:34:17

I have never had a discount with my Sparks card.

The young man who served me the other day agreed that it was a waste of time!

Marydoll Mon 17-Dec-18 18:54:59

I recently received money of Christmas food with my Sparks card and last week certain discounts were add to my card. I also get a preview to the sale.
I wonder if it depends on the number of points on your card.

Jalima1108 Mon 17-Dec-18 18:58:05

I once received someone else's Tesco vouchers.

Perhaps she's getting my Sparks discounts.

Brunette10 Mon 17-Dec-18 19:08:57

I also have a Sparks card and I receive emails probably every two weeks with offers for various food stuffs and/or clothes/household BUT you have to ‘add’ them to your card online if you want to take advantage of the offers. If you don’t add them onto your card the offer wont come off at your purchase.

Tesco still send out money off vouchers. The last one ran out last week. You have to spend £80 either in store or online, and you got £8 off.

PamelaJ1 Mon 17-Dec-18 19:32:07

I got some the other week, didn’t use them so they sent more.Stop shopping there for a while and then see what they do.
I had to spend 60 to get 12 off.
