Thank you again baggs, good to know soop is well enough for discharge. Safe trip for her and macs tomorrow, hope the weather is kind.
Love to you both synonymous, tomorrow is bound to be a tough day for both of you.
Please don’t worry callgirl, my wisdom tooth removal recently was painless and quick. I was offered sedation which apparently ensures little or no memory of the process. I didn’t choose to accept it but I’m sure it would be available if you needed it.
Two images from Norway to help us all relax.
Sleep well everyone.
I do understand callgirl. Talk to your dental surgeon, maybe try to speak on the phone before you go. Explain how you feel. He/she won’t laugh, you are far from alone and dentists are well used to supporting anxious patients. I was once advised by a dentist that ibuprofen and a large glass of wine will deal with dental discomfort. Worth a try?
The image is from a beautiful if very chilly walk.
What a lovely picture Corner, we went to Norway in April, didn`t see an awful lot of snow, but it was still beautiful.
I haven`t posted one for a while, so here`s a pic of little Max eating his dinner the other day.
Max is delightful callgirl, lovely little boy. We spent time with our Littlest today, stopped me fretting about family ‘stuff’ for a while. These little ones don’t know how valuable they are in all sorts of ways.
Here’s another Lights image. Now I really should be asleep. Goodnight everyone, sleep tight.
Lovely photos corner.
There are no general anaesthetics in general dental surgeries now callgirl. Your best bet is probably to contact your local Healthwatch and talk to them. Explain that you are in pain and anxious and ask their advice. I hope you get something sorted out quickly. Or look on the NHS website where there will be a list of dentists and the services they offer.
Bertie had two teeth out yesterday. You may remember he fell off the climbing frame and dislodged them. It was hoped that he would be able keep them for longer but they were causing him too much trouble. I'll include a photo. Apparently he didn't cry much.
Sending lots of love and healing thoughts to the soops.
Hope the family stuff sorts itself, corner.
And, I've just gone downstairs to find the kitten playing with a mouse in the dining room!!!
synonymous, I meant to wish you and your DH well for today too. It's a huge adjustment ahead of you both. You must be exhausted. I know Dh's minor health blip drained me so look after yourself too.
Although I don't post much, I try to follow the Kitcheners' news.
Just popped in to wish Soop and McSp a safe journey home, on what are not the easiest of roads to drive.
Poor McSporran, will have a seven hour round trip.
in nasty weather.
My best wishes to you and your husband for today, Synonymous
As for the cat and mouse, Kitty, I would have freaked out!
We have DGD again today, all plans cancelled! I will be glad when her hospital appointment on Monday comes and she gets some respite from the dreadful barking cough.
dragonfly, the cats and I keep DH around for just such an eventuality!! He responds very well to shrieks of terror!
I'm sure Monday can't come quickly enough Marydoll, I hope something is done for your dgd very quickly.
I'll check back later for news of the soops. I hope the wind is not too bad for their journey.
I should point out that in one of the photos of Bertie he is 'biting down' on a cotton wool roll. Apparently the tooth fairy was very generous and Pa, had rashly promised to match whatever she left!
I drove DH home from holiday once straight after he had had a pin in his hip after falling playing badminton. We had a friend of DD3 with us in the car and I think he helped educate her with a wide range of previously unheard swear words.
