That still entertains you.

A friend from way back in my misspent youth has shared this on facebook. Without hesitation, my first choice was The Boat That Rocked which brings back happy memories of revising for exams on Ventnor beach listening to Radio London on my little transistor radio.

I scrolled down through the comments and saw that she'd named the same film!!

Happy Days.

How about you?

Titanic. It's virtually the only film in my opinion which actually lived up to its pre release hype.

Ryan's Daughter. Another which has stood the test of time.

Railway children ( Daddy, my daddy! sob)
Brief Encounter
My Best Friends Wedding
The Way We Were

Certain lines still make me cry.

Oh annep1 'Daddy, my daddy!' I simply couldn't watch the Railway Children 5 times because of that one line. It has me in bits just to think about it! ET's farewell to Eliot comes a close second!

Grandma2213 It's the scream outside the opera house when the Godfather realises his daughter is dead that gets me everytime and the shsot of him dying all alone with just a puppy playing at his feet. So heartbreaking sad

Those famous lines inThe Railway children always brings tears to my eyes as well.

The only film I ever re-watched, and that only once was The Sting.

The first time for the story, the second for the absolutely fantastic design.

Castaway - the children love it and I do too
Driving Miss Daisy - ditto
Big - ditto

Alien
Brief Encounter
An Inspector Calls
Rebecca
Notting Hill
The Sixth Sense

In fact, lots of films. There are always bits that I've forgotten.

I got ET on DVD for the children and found it disappointing although I enjoyed it when it came out.

Probably Wizard of Oz! but whilst I will often see a film twice, 5 times is a bit excessive and I like film as a medium.
Though there was a time when 2 middle DGC were into The Secret Garden ..so I may have seen that 5 times. confused
