Morning Mick, morning all.
It's a lovely start again in North Leicestershire- so lovely that I might have to clean the windows.
We have a plumber calling this morning to give us a quote for a few little jobs that we have been saving up to make it worthwhile calling him - just hope it isnt going to cost a fortune.
Sports day for Bertie and Persie this afternoon.
Good morning Mick and everyone.
Wall to wall blue sky in Kent, it puts a smile on my face to wake up to sunshine.
Apart from doing some laundry and driving DH to his gardening job, I have no plans.
Enjoy whatever your doing.
Morning kitty
Morning nina.
Good Morning everyone.
A sunny start on Severnside.
My windows need cleaning kittylester. They look worse as I’ve pulled the middle curtains right back to the end ones.
No firm plans for today.
Have a lovely day whatever you do ?
Good Morning Mick and all.
Lovely sunshine in Cheshire. For now.
How do I get out of going somewhere that I don't want to go .But I haven't any good reason not to.
I know I am being a complete wimp but it might mean someone else can't get there.
I am so tired I want to go back to bed or a quiet day in the garden.
If I go out now I could escape when she rings. ?? Hopefully her hubby might be able to drive today.
What an awful person I am.
Good morning everyone from the North Sea today, where it is bright and sunny but a terrible swell. Have just poured my tea and carried it back to bed - one minute I am walking uphill, the next downhill!
The last full day of the cruise, so this afternoon will be spent packing. Must make the most of the rest of the time. And just in time for going home I seem to have caught a cold, woke up with a terrible sore throat so I shall go and see if the on board shop has any throat sweets after breakfast.
Hope everyone has a pleasant day.
Good Morning , what a lovely morning makes you feel so alive School run for me this morning , terrible sleep last night just wonder if I will make it through the day without a nap.
Enjoy everyone.

Good morning all from a very hot Malta.
I’m visiting a friend in a care home today so hope we can find a shady spot in the garden for her. She’s wheelchair bound now, so not easy to take her too far in this heat.
Resurgam, you do not need an excuse. If you would rather not go, just don’t. You do not owe anyone an explanation, and the other person can get a cab if necessary. Not your problem.
BlueSapphire, sorry your last day has been blighted by a sore throat. It happened to me on a cruise and I was advised to drink lemon and ginger tea with some honey in it. It really helped a lot. Hope you feel better and can enjoy your last day of luxury.
Hope everyone has a good day whatever you are doing.
Reported.
I dont suppose many if us are doing dissertations!!
Good morning Mick and everyone. Such a joy to see blue sky! Crept down to the wheelie bin not to disturb the wren and walked into a cobweb. Ugh! But I scared her twice yesterday being clumsy. No idea where she's up to in breeding, but I have two workmen waiting to come and do jobs when Jenny Wren vacates her nest under the balcony.
Still to decide where we're going today, but the Anderton Boat lift is a possibility.
Enjoy your day everyone. Anyone feeling unwell hope you have a better day today.
Good morning Mick and all.
A pleasant day hear in Glasgow I was wakened at the crack of dawn by my husband getting ready for his golf game. He makes such a racket!!
I'm meeting a friend for lunch today, this is the first time in months I have felt up to it, since being in hospital. I'm afraid to say, I had become a bit of a recluse!
Thank you for your post and sentiments, JackPonting. I'm afraid I have had to report this post, as we don't allow advertising without GN's permission.
Good morning Mick and all from the Scottish Borders. Cooler today but fear the poor wee family up at Wester Ross have chosen the wrong week for their hols.
BlueSapphire your description of the cruise has been so evocative. Sorry if you are coming down with something.
It's already school holidays here so our Wednesday group will be small. I may just sit and knit in the garden if so.
I was a bit slow, Kitty!
Good morning all from a sunny Stockport.
Resurgam just say no, it has taken me many years to do it but it is worth learning how to.
We are old enough to do what we want as long as no one gets hurt.
Cleaner this morning and mobile hairdresser this afternoon.
Have as good a day as you can everyone.
Good morning from a lovely sunny NE.
Quiet day at home because DH will be leaving during the rush hour to go to GD's school play, I have a dodgy back so am staying home.
DD flew off to Greece to attend a friend's wedding and will stay for a holiday after, it was good to see her at the weekend when she had a short stay in this country.
Good morning everyone from drizzly Plockton. It’s mild enough but no sun. At least there are no midges Marydoll!
A bit of sorting out of any stuff at my father’s house in case he would like any mementoes. He says at his age, not really but I think he ought to have one last good look.
When we go home on Saturday everything will be in the hands of the estate agent who will call in an auctioneer then dealers, then request a house clearance. Every drawer, cupboard and desk if full. It would be overwhelming to tackle this ourselves to be honest. Five bedrooms and large rooms too. We could fit both of our own apartments into the downstairs of this house!
We might have a run into Kyle of Lochalsh this afternoon for coffee.
Enjoy the last day of your cruise BlueSapphire I would feel dizzy I think walking about a ship as it dips and swells!
Hope Wednesday is good to us all whether we have plans or none. x
I wasn't reporting you bella.
Good morning from a beautiful warm and sunny NE coast where the sea is glistening in the sunshine.
No breakfast cafe or school runs today just me and my cuppa then off to “that place” .
Do enjoy the last day of your cruise BlueSapphire I have really enjoyed hearing about all the places you have visited.
I know what it’s like when you find it hard to say no to something you really don’t want to do Resurgam , I get roped into all doing alsorts because for some reason the “N” word just won’t come out.
Hope your back eases soon harri do take care.
Have a good Wednesday everyone. x
Morning all - brightening up here in north Wales by the minute and it’s promising a scorcher so off for some shopping and lunch with DD & SiL.
You all seem to have something nice planned apart from Resurgam - do what suits you best! Although sometimes I make myself do things I don’t want to just so that I can polish my halo later - ha ha!
Good Morning All x
A beautiful start to the day---at last !
I've been up since 4.30. This has happened a few times now, very wide awake though and have had my breakfast as well.
D and SiL are at Manch. airport now awaiting their flight back to Oz. It leaves at 10am. Feeling quite empty after a house full yesterday filled with family and laughter. Also our Dutch friend goes home today too.
It's all or nothing.
My usual trip to Asda shortly then some more washing to do as must take advantage of the weather while it's fine.
Then I'll be tracking D's flight/s for the next 24hrs until they arrive safely in Sydney.
Hope everyone's day goes well.
Morning everyone, a nice morning here in Torbay cloudy with plenty of blue.
Dog walk and gardening today if I feel up to it.
Have a good day all.
