Grown women saying they’re ‘ a lucky girl’ on social media.

I’ve just read a post on social media by a 60 year old friend thanking her ‘ wonderful hubby’ for her new car. She has a very responsible, well paid job, but has posted a picture of a ( quite ordinary) wee car, and saying thank you to the aforementioned hubby, and ‘ I’m one lucky, lucky, girl’. That in itself is, to me, cringeworthy enough, but it was all the replies agreeing with her and praising the hubby which surprised me.
Am I going further down the road to grumpy old womanhood?

It makes me laugh when people like goodmama say they despise social media but it depends on your friends on your Social media it’s the same as real life if you ve got cringe worthy friends on social media then they will be the same in a room of people
My fb isn’t full of people boasting but then neither is my life so it wouldn’t be would it ?
So yes daddima that’s a grumpy old woman post it gives it away when you say it’s a perfectly ordinary little car ...meow
???
(but yes ‘hubby’ makes me cringe)
