My daughter told me about a friend of hers who is launching a some Christmas crackers this year called Crackers without the Crap. Apparently they are plastic free and filled with bee friendly seeds which I thought was a lovely idea. I know there is a crowdfunding campaign gor them so I will be asking DD for the link to support it. Anyway, as soon as I heard the name I thought I would never forget it! I got to thinking of other clever comapny names or taglines that stick in your memory, I remember once visiting a chip shop called the Codfather!

The turf suppliers near where we used to live in Sussex had the legend on their lorries “ Don’t seed it, sod it!”
As the area is known as 1066 country, the cement mixer bore the legend “ William the Concreter”.
They always made me smile.

My local chippy is called The Codmother. There was a barber called Herr Kutts and I took my dog to a groomer called Dirty Dogs and Filthy Bitches. If you google that you get some interesting results blush

There was an Inn about half way between Anchorage, AK and Fairbanks, AK, a distance of about 578 km or 359 miles. It was called "Skinny Dick's Halfway Inn".
This was about 40 years ago though. Not sure, but it may be still there.

Many years ago, while on holiday in Scotland, we passed a TV Repair Shop called 'Telly On The Blink' - which I thought was hilarious. Let's face it, you'd never forget who to contact when your telly wasn't working - would you ;-).
