My almost 17 year old has a man bun too Gonegirl he's threatening dreadlocks and his stepdad is none too thrilled. His mum is like me ..it hair,it grows and he'll pass through this phase and onto this next .
My 2 year old DGS3 has long, silky, curly blond hair and is always taken for a girl. A man bun might help with the identification as well as keeping it out of his Cheerios.
I wonder why our little DGSs have such beautiful curls my little GGS is blessed with lots of thick black curls but his sister's hair is poker straight,it just doesn't seem fair.
Oh, I do, Gonegirl. I'll be sad when they take him to the barber for the first time. Two of the other DGS have poker-straight mousey hair (hey, there's my little gene pool contribution right there!) and the eldest, lucky lad, has inherited his mum's thick dark curls.
Where d'you think I was?! At home warm and cosy in a comfy armchair. I'm not hanging out with that lot. Not having the cops pick me up by my four corners. Some thing would give.
My son was 50 this week and he has dreadlocks, sometimes in a bun. I also thought he would grow out of this stage with his hair but now I have given up.
