Hello from a windy but dry Cornwall and sending good wishes to every one on this thread (and everyone else too!)
I don't usually post on this thread, so almost feel uneasy and as if I don't belong - but the messages are so caring and friendly that I think you will be kind and welcoming . I am sad to read about the problems and pain others have to contend with - my own seem a lot smaller than some of these - and I wish you all well.

Applegran, EVERYONE belongs on this thread and you are most welcome. Like Soops Kitchen, it is a safe haven, where all are supported, gentle, caring and often with a few smiles along the way.

A very sad time for all at the moment. EllaKeat will be sadly missed. Such a giving lady battling on. How someone could think of outing her is beyond belief.?

My babysitting morning has ended, was lovely, found a you tube site, LooLookids, full of nursery rhymes and colourful videos. At only 4 weeks, she was mesmerised and making noises and smiling at me singing them to her too. Love every moment with her

I too noticed odd date, mainly because exactly. a year ago I was just home after fairly minor stroke, at the time didn’t have too drastic effects but as the year has gone on I have difficulties with sight , hearing and confidence. Not to mention unsteadiness walking, I won’t drive any more. Unfortunately in the summer my husband was very ill and spent time in hospital ; four years ago he was diagnosed with lung cancer, followed by intensive radio therapy, which resulted in other chest problems,but given the ‘all clear’ in October thank goodness. Now he is driving and ALMOST back to normal, although don’t go far. Hospital appointments tend to be a day outnowandthen!
Many on this post have so many problems but also many don’t mention them so here’s to all. ????and hoping 202020 isagood omen.I have mentioned these things before but don’t make a habit of it.

Happy Moñday every one. Very damp and cold here in Southend but I had a lovely ride along the seafront on my buggie accompanied by Sally my little dog. Many families were out and about with children fiding bikes and scòoters. Reminds me of the lovely days out when my children were small. Those were the days!
