Yeah I’d divorce him if he can’t get a grip over a bit of lettuce really !

I usually do our weekly shop on a Friday n way home from work only to find that OH has also shopped and brought home doughnuts, cakes, crisps, choc etc. All of the stuff that I probably wouldn't buy. Do you think he's trying to tell me something??

Do you think you’ll romaine with him petunia? Cos I think I’d certainly be giving him the iceberg treatment.

Why do men do this I carefully check cupboards, fridge and make a list of what we need (would love to go shopping alone).
Since retirement he insists on coming with me, it now takes twice as long and he constantly argues about what we need ie although I know we have the items at home he insists we haven't and buys them. My pantrys heaving with tinned/dry goods. At least we'll OK if we have to isolate.[grin}

use the leaves as wraps for shredded meats and veg with chilli sauce or soy ,its healthy and cheaper than bread

lettuce sandwiches (without the bread) till he's eaten it all up then go to Plan B.......

Yes definitely,i must admit though,i too buy 'healthy/salad items' with good intentions then they lurk in fridge till out of date as they look not very tasty? it'l save u stock piling.

Just feed him salad, three meals a day until it is used up!
