Let's see if we can make each other laugh

There's so much to worry about right now isn't there? But it would be nice if we could perhaps have one little place where we aim to make each other laugh, or at least smile, with any daft jokes we know.

Remember when we thought the world was going to end, during the Cold War? We survived.
I love Tom Lehrer’s black humour. And we didn’t “All go together.”
We will get through this threat, too.

We watched a film the other night which I can so recommend, gave us a good laugh and brighten up our moods in this difficult time. "The Fast Lady" on Talking Pictures with James Robertson Justice, Stanley Baxter, and Leslie Phillips. It was really enjoyable. Let's all keep our chins up, but easier said than done with current news.

My wife spread out a map of the world and said throw a dart and wherever it lands we'll have a nice long holiday there, when the virus is over. So I threw the dart and we'll be spending 2 weeks behind the fridge!
