This puzzle is driving us all crazy!!

Man = 5
Shoe = 5 × 3 = 15
Wrist straps = 2 × 3 = 6
Answer 5 + 15 + 6 = 26 (or it was when I went to school)

But the way they calculate maths in schools these days the answer could be anything you want it to be!

There are 6 shoes in total and they equal 30.
So, 30÷6= the value of one shoe.

13 - 1 man = 8, so 4 poles = 8, so 1 pole = 2

2 men + 1 trainers equal 20. Trainers equal 10.
20-10= 10 divided by 2 (men) therefore 1 man = 5

2 zips? + 1 man = 13 Man equals 5 therefore 2 zips equal 13 - 5 = 8 therefore zips = 4

(1/2 a pair of trainers) = 5 + (man) 5 x (zip) 4 = 40
