And I for one will certainly be joining in. Loud and proud. To applaud the NHS heroes and frontline staff

I don't go out to clap. No one in my street does.
I don't think we will ever find a way to thank the wonderful staff enough for what they are doing. And so very sad that some of these brave people have given their lives for us.
Thinking of all of you who have family working in the NHS.

I agree, I do go out to clap because of my daughter and her husband, but I also think we can never thank our medics and all the support staff in the hospitals and practices enough.
I found the death of those two nurses, both mothers of three, and both in their thirties, I found their deaths unbearably sad. There are no words. This weekend a third young nurse died, only 23 years old. It’s so tragic. Then today I saw a further nurse, actually a midwife, has died. She was in her fifties. And I think five doctors have died. It’s absolutely unbearable, I feel for their families.

Heartbreaking for the families and a terrible loss to the NHS as well.
