Boris has a son ???

trisher Thu 30-Apr-20 10:45:10

Anniebach you do know that Boris's mother has mental health problems don't you?

trisher Thu 30-Apr-20 10:46:50

If people really don't see the difference between an elected politician and an accident of birth I really do despair for democracy.

Glorybee Thu 30-Apr-20 10:56:48

These things are well known about Boris but people still like/vote for him.

Pantglas2 Thu 30-Apr-20 11:00:53

I don’t understand the obsession with wanting ‘perfect’ politicians - I’m not sure one exists - no more than the perfect voter does!

Anniebach Thu 30-Apr-20 11:20:16

Yes trisher, I remember you used the term ‘dysfunctional family’ with the royal family and mental illness.

A parent with mental health illness can affect their child’s life,
not always but it does happen. As a child with mental illness
can affect their parents lives.

You defended Corbyn regardless of his ,in my opinion, hypocrisy. I criticise regardless of politics .

trisher Thu 30-Apr-20 11:24:56

That statement is amazing when you think of all the shit that was thrown at Corbyn (and still is by some!). It isn't wanting perfection. It is wanting someone who actually thinks before he speaks or writes, considers his words and exhibits a degree of competence and reliability. A little honesty might be good as well. I suppose understanding and empathy are too much to expect.

Sparklefizz Thu 30-Apr-20 11:26:25

Trisher you always have to sneer or add some sarcastic or snidey remark at people who don't agree with you.

trisher Thu 30-Apr-20 11:28:18

I never referred to mental illness in the RF Annie you interpreted something I said as such. Then questioned if what I said had happened. I don't propose to get into a debate about that but please don't try saying I have said something unless you are actually posting a quote. You disagree with anything I say so are hardly someone whose interpretation can be relied upon.

Anniebach Thu 30-Apr-20 11:29:01

so all critcism of Corbyn was ‘shit’ . He still hasn’t walked on
water .

Anniebach Thu 30-Apr-20 11:31:17

trisher

‘You disagree with anything I say so are hardly someone whose interpretation can be relied upon.’

Ditto

trisher Thu 30-Apr-20 11:32:42

Sparklefizz if you don't want me to explain don't ask questions of me.
Annie "shit" was a general term for some if not all of the stuff said about Corbyn. I seem to remember a lot of criticuism about his personal life. It was neither as colourful nor as chaotic as Johnsons and certainly didn't involve as many offspring. So who are we talking about as 'walking on water'?

Anniebach Thu 30-Apr-20 12:17:09

trisher I didn’t say Corbyn’s personal life was as chaotic as
Johnson’s.

Having sex doesn’t always mean a pregnancy follows.

Diane Abbott for example

trisher Thu 30-Apr-20 12:20:04

Annie shouldn't your message have be sent to Boris????

Sparklefizz Thu 30-Apr-20 13:06:15

Sparklefizz if you don't want me to explain don't ask questions of me.

It's not your explanations, it's your general sneering, sarcasm and tone of superiority towards other posters. I don't need to put people down if they disagree with me but it seems that you do, and it's unpleasant.

trisher Thu 30-Apr-20 13:13:04

I would like to know why Trisher feels it is perfectly ok to be extremely critical of Boris's behaviour, but not for GNetters to criticise Harry & Meghan's behaviour.
I answer the way I am addressed-not really a polite question is it?

Sparklefizz Thu 30-Apr-20 14:31:16

You are being disingenuous, but life is generally too stressful to argue with you, so I'm done.

Anniebach Thu 30-Apr-20 14:42:40

Always the same Sparkle , I think it’s a game for trisher

Callistemon Thu 30-Apr-20 14:44:33

certainly didn't involve as many offspring

Perhaps more women wanted baby Borises than wanted baby Jeremies

Just a thought.

MissAdventure Thu 30-Apr-20 14:46:09

Perhaps he is very fertile wink

Callistemon Thu 30-Apr-20 14:53:03

It's the blond hair wink

Although Jeremy's is lovely too.

Anniebach Thu 30-Apr-20 14:59:23

Callistemon ?

Not really much difference between the two men if Johnson
marries his fiancée.

3 wives each, the 3rd Mrs quite a few years younger ,
both had children with the 2nd Mrs. both had affairs when
married to the 2nd Mrs.

Doubt the one 3rd Mrs wanted a baby at 42, but the other 3rd
Mrs did at 32.

Callistemon Thu 30-Apr-20 16:18:37

Just the hair, really, then.

FlorenceN Thu 30-Apr-20 16:21:51

Congratulations to them both on the birth of their son!

trisher Thu 30-Apr-20 16:24:24

Not much difference Annie! That's not a nice way to refer to 6 children, one of whom is illegitimate. Oh and an abortion of course.
And let's get things right Corbyn 1st wife 1974-1979
After that an affair with DA
2nd wife 1987-1999
3rd wife met after divorce married 2013
3 children to 2nd marriage

BJ 1st marriage annulled 1983 , 5 weeks later 1st child born to 2nd wife
2003-2004 Affair
2006 Affair
2009 Illegitimate daughter born to another affair.
2018 began relationship with Carrie
2019 Divorced
2020 child
So let's not accuse Corbyn of behaving the way BJ has because it simply isn't true.

BlueSky Thu 30-Apr-20 16:29:29

Boris is definitely naughtier! But perhaps that's why he's popular!
