You are better off enquiring at builders merchants or safety wear companies than on line as there have been multiple rogue companies/suppliers suddenly popping up online.

Yes, of course you are. It was WWM2’s Be ready for more massive levels of shortages that I objected to.

Such remarks are not helpful, and are nothing to do with people posting that flour, brown sugar, condensed milk etc are in short supply, which I commented on in another thread.

Sorry posted prematurely, that is the technical description, many manufacturers make masks that comply to that standard.

All of our local schools have had the children of key workers playing outside as much as possible. Thankfully the weather has been good and it will have made it much safer for both staff and children. But I dread to think what will happen with more children in schools having to stay inside more.

Children need a school to go back to, with healthy teachers to teach them. If the virus whips through the staffroom so that there are no teachers left, NONE of the pupils will be able to attend, including the children of key workers. The return needs careful management - and head teachers all over the country are saying this.

How many customers went to the supermarket staff for a cuddle because they didn't feel well? How many couldn't blow their own noses or fasten the zips on their fleeces? How many brought their shopping lists to shove under the checkout girl's nose for her to correct, and talked into her face as she did so? How many passengers did the driver have to lift onto the bus, and remind to stay in their seat and not lean over the back to talk to other passengers from a foot away? How many delivery drivers are surrounded by fifteen customers at once all asking about their (very important) parcels which are overdue by a couple of months?

I am sure other posters can think of several other ways in which school is not a supermarket or a bus or a delivery system..

Checkout, transport and delivery staff have all done a wonderful job keeping the country supplied with essentials (and non-essentials!) and getting to essential places, but you can't directly compare apples and potatoes. Each job has its own hazards.

Across the road on the school field there are children out playing every day, because guess what schools have NEVER closed. They have been looking after the children of NHS and key workers and trying to keep them as safe as possible. But lets introduce more children and see if the virus spreads a bit more because if there is something all these parents deserve it is another worry to add to those they already carry.

Teachers in my opinion should do their job and get back to school and teach their pupils. Supermarket staff went in day in day out serving thousands of different shoppers you never heard them complain. Doctors. nurses, care workers, delivery men etc carried on. It's just the unions trying to cause problems for the government. Children need to get back to school.

WWMK2 a 41p mask is about as much use as a tissue, I know this as part of our business is protective clothing and masks.
