Good Morning Everyone,
Yet another bright sunny start to the day here in Brackley this morning.
Today , whilst monitoring my weight , they it seems to go up and down by a kilo or more is snacking between meals and in the evenings.
Yesterday , my cycling magazine issues arrived in the post including back copies .
I am hoping my hair trimmer arrives soon , as I have tracked it from China to Heathrow and then through customs for just under a kilo in weight its been along journey .
Mick

Going... going... gone...????

Callistemon Tue 12-May-20 22:10:45

Yes, a classic.
Crême de la menthe!

GabriellaG54 Tue 12-May-20 22:08:41

I still laugh at that point where he tries to look nonchalant in front of those girls and falls through the gap in the bar.

Marydoll Tue 12-May-20 20:12:41

Well actually, that's my other car and it's white! wink

Callistemon Tue 12-May-20 20:02:20

Bain Marie, Marydoll, a Robin Reliant is very chavvy, not you at all.

GabriellaG54 Tue 12-May-20 20:00:37

Should be alright with a quick flick of a feather duster ???

Marydoll Tue 12-May-20 19:55:07

Callistemon, don't be silly. It's a yellow trabant!
It's has been in storage during lockdown. I want to keep it in good nick! wink

Callistemon Tue 12-May-20 19:40:30

Luckygirl the birds kept pecking at our sweet peas so they are now covered in wire mesh.
Is it slugs or birds ie pigeons?

Callistemon Tue 12-May-20 19:38:32

Wot, Marydoll - a white Robin Reliant?

My vision of you has changed dramatically!!

Marydoll Tue 12-May-20 19:24:00

Obviously I have no taste, Gabriella wink

GabriellaG54 Tue 12-May-20 19:22:51

? ?️⚫⛏️?

Marydoll Tue 12-May-20 18:44:53

I used to have a white one. Keep digging that deep hole!??

GabriellaG54 Tue 12-May-20 18:44:08

Oh yes, your dad is/was definitely right about that. ??

GabriellaG54 Tue 12-May-20 18:41:21

Well, at least it's not white. ?

GabriellaG54 Tue 12-May-20 18:40:03

Oh gawd !
Soreee ??

Marydoll Tue 12-May-20 18:17:18

Oh Gabriella, my car is yellow.? I'm cut to the core!?

Urmstongran Tue 12-May-20 17:52:56

Lovely to look forward to a great day out Gabriella!

I’m one who wouldn’t care what colour car or model. As my old dad used to say ‘3rd class driving is better than 1st class walking’!
?

Callistemon
Oh dear! Not classy navy.
When I asked if I might borrow it, I was afraid it might be white or some other er... chav hue, in which case I would not want to use it. He said not to worry, it's dark.
I wrongly assumed he referred to dark blue.
No. Having just checked that I'm a named driver, the colour I now know is grey, some weird shade of grey and I have to pick it up from the station car park.
Still, better than yellow I suppose.

Luckygirl Tue 12-May-20 17:22:13

Good afternoon - mixed weather here on the S Wales border - but snatched a lovely walk in the bluebells before sun went in. Sweet peas have survived the frosty night - fingers crossed for tonight. Slugs are in evidence though.

Callistemon Tue 12-May-20 16:18:19

Ooh, I like dark blue, it's classy.

GabriellaG54 Tue 12-May-20 16:09:35

Alas ? it's not mine, it's borrowed ?? and worse...it's dark blue. ?

Callistemon Tue 12-May-20 16:02:56

Gabriella I hope that the Robin Reliant is a nice, bright sunshine yellow one.
With a sunshine roof

gillybob Tue 12-May-20 15:52:07

Aaaaah have these flowers eazybee your poor eyes must have been so offended.

Thank you for cheering me up. At least I got to laugh.

Marydoll Tue 12-May-20 14:15:49

It's actually quite mild, considering what you have gone through in the last year, Gilly.

I have used much stronger expletives against Virgin Media tech dept in the last few days. ?

Keep your chin up! You don't need this added stress.

Oh, I'd be arriving by train to Lime Street and getting the ferry ?
Got to do it properly includng a donkey ride + ??? I suppose the fair is no more. It used to be up a bit of a hill or slope away from the prom and we went over every week, usually on a Saturday on the Royal Daffodil...sans music. ?
