I did get up very early, but the temp on the thermometer outside the kitchen window read 3.4, and the min. during the night was 2.9. And we’re in SW London.

I have my sheepskin house boots on - a far cry from a week or so ago when I was in flip flops first thing.
I’m sure many of you further north are considerably chillier, though.

Sorry.. was remarking on Malta as I had just read the post by Bellasnana.
I think the man I mentioned was very 'proper' which is not usual in the Met ranks.
