Advertisement responses....for fun!

phoenix Me too. I'm often answering back to those adverts that claim to be so caring of their customers when we all know that basically they just want our money.

On the other hand, some adverts make me laugh. There is one (obviously not that effective because I can't remember what the product is) - the couple sitting in their car, in the dark, in the middle of nowhere with the SatNav saying"you have reached your destination". I can definitely relate to that ad. The same advert includes the woman who has gone to the wrong fitness class and is frantically trying to keep up with the rest of the super-fit class.

You know the M & S string of adverts where "This is not just food it is M & S Food". Some years ago there was one of these for Strawberries which were apparently "hand picked in Scotland" to which we always added "by child labour and benefit cheats".

The WaterAid advert with the peeing cow. That must be the most travelled, diabetic cow in Africa if not the world as it appears in every advert and is always peeing. So when it says ",,,walks miles every day for water" I find myself saying "No she doesn't."

Another one, IMO rather dangerous actually, is the Tombola ad: "It's all about community" and "It's the family thing that I like". Because it's not about either, it's about sitting alone gambling online.

I so agree about the healthy mouth one. That woman with the stupid grin, her backside vibrating as she mouths ‘Hips! Thighs!’ or whatever, I feel like smacking her silly face!
