Nicole wiz robbed!

Spoiler alert! Just watched the final of the Sewing Bee. Very disappointed that Nicole didn’t win. She had far more imagination than the winner (without naming names!) and it just seemed that despite all the exotic challenges the judges just went for basic classic technique.

Her friend, Alex Belcher, who modelled the red dress, is an anaethetist at the hospital.

At the end of the final programme, they said she was an anaesthetist

Yes, I've just had another look on iPlayer Callistemon and the only time that they mentioned an anaesthetist was regarding her friend and colleague, Alex Belcher. Oh well......

I thought some of Nicole's stuff was very well designed and stunning, but then there were many stunning outfits. Nicole made many mistakes and was only saved from a major one by advice from the judges. Clare was much more accurate and had her share of stunning outfits. Her last creation was deceptively simple and beautifully made. I think she was the winner.

And, of course, being a medical consultant and lung specialist, Clare has been on the front line in ICU during this pandemic.
