Hi all,
I always went barefoot then got fed up with having to wipe the soles of my feet as they always felt unclean (even though my house is spotless), so I bought some cheap black sliders from Tesco. What do you wear? X

Barefoot or thongs in summer and Uggs in winter

Sketcher's leather cross strap sandals for summer and Haflinger boiled wool mules and /or leather boat shoes in winter. Hello Flyinghandbag hope you are well. X and ? for you.

What an interesting thread! I generally wear those fluffy socks with gripper things on the sole over ordinary socks. Going out to the garden I don't take them off but slide my feet into wellies or welly shoes. Going out further afield I take them off and put outdoor shoes on. I am VERY inconsistent though; occasionally I find I've run upstairs with wellies still on!

This time of year...Usually bare feet or plimsoll type thingies from Tesco or mules. If I go out to the garden accidentally I wash the soles. Its difficult to remember to change every time. Snug slipper boots all winter.XXX

Flip flops for me. I used to always have Animal ones, but my current ones are from Crocs, and are very comfortable.

Good thread FlyingHandbag ✊️

Another one for animal flip flops- got several pairs. X

Scholl toe post sandals all year round, I have many pairs as I try to avoid a return of plantar fasciitis. I do keep one pair for indoor use only, the temperature has to be many degrees below before I wear slippers or socks.

“Down to Earth” comfort ballerina pumps. I wear them all the time. They are so comfortable and lightweight. I have several pairs. I wear black and navy in the winter and light grey in the summer. Since I discovered this make a few years ago (got my first paid in TKMAX) I wouldn’t wear anything else.

Winter and summer for popping outside I slip my feet into 'backdoorshoes' (all one word). These waterproof mules are comfortable and hard wearing. Bought online many years ago and still good.

Lightweight cotton trainers for me. Don't really like slippers. I always wear something on my feet since I broke my toe stubbing it on a metal bed.

Mancjules Thu 25-Jun-20 14:49:16

Bare feet indoors and slip ons in garden. Don't let anyone come in to the house with shoes on either.

Wheniwasyourage Thu 25-Jun-20 16:33:40

Sketchers in the house and Crocs to slip on for the garden (unless I am gardening, in which case it's the gardening wellies). I used to wear Crocs in the house, but then my feet started hurting so moved over to Sketchers. In this heat it's sandals though.

Slippers mostly but, in very hot weather, a pair of lightweight sandals that I never wear outdoors.

Um.....shoes?

Mostly hiking socks and some very old and soft elk leather shoes. Ours is a cool house.

Hi all
Having lived abroad for many years, I became accustomed to always changing footwear when coming indoors. There was a row of slippers waiting for visitors as well as our own.
In winter I wear warm, cosy slippers and in summer light plastic type slippers. I also have slip-on slippers for the garden, so in all quite a lot of indoor footwear but it keeps the floors clean.

GrannyGravy13 Thu 25-Jun-20 18:30:11

Barefoot inside and out in the summer.

Ugg slippers inside in the winter

PinkCakes Thu 25-Jun-20 18:44:57

Usually barefoot, but broke my little toe yesterday on the sofa leg. A&E doctor advised footwear indoors. Apparently it happens slot.
