Whilst working.
In my work place and if we had to copy a two page document the copy/printer could print on both sides, using just one sheet of paper.
Promised myself I would buy one for home use.
Cost presented me from buying one,so here is what I did.
If its a two page document, put just sheet in the paper tray, and press print.
Then take the one sheet out,put it back in the paper tray, and press the green start button
In my printer if I put the one sheet in with the print facing upwards and upside down and press the start button.
You get a two page document on one sheet.
Hope my tip might help a few members.

Yes I always do that but make sure you put the paper back in the right way round grin

Me too. To make sure of putting the paper in the right way, I used to pencil a small on the paper then print one page. That way I knew which way to face the paper before printing the 2nd page. Hope that makes sense.

That's what I do too. Very small light 'x'on top left on the first run.

My HP can be temperamental doing double sided sometimes- but if I change the doc to PDF preview it always works.

Five years old, wonder if all those printers are still working?😄

Just curious about "what" caused this to resurface, but back to the original posting.
Bought new printer, and although I still try to turn the paper over,if any of the blank pages are crumpled they won't even start to print.

We’ ve always had a printer that prints on both sides if you ask for it. It wasn’t very expensive. I thought it was just normal. You just have to ask for it at the point of requesting ‘print’ on the computer.

Ours prints double-sided - I use that facility a lot. We’ve had it for ages, so not super-new.
