Very late, dear Kitcheners. Certainly here it is now 1st September - so pinch or punch to all of you! That month has come around very quickly even though, as GG points out, all those days have passed since lockdown - and here I can add another week to that number. At the beginning, I thought I'd go to pieces but amazingly, I've managed - most of us have managed, so well done us.
Well done, to you both, Synonymous you must feel a great sense of relief. Legal problems always manage to take over such a big part of your life, but you can now feel that it's behind you and start to move forward without any what-if's hanging over you. Plenty of time now to focus on little rodents and keeping them out of your home. Clearly your cat is not going to be of any help, so maybe changing your name to SynonymousE might help?
Beautiful photo of Toby and his Granddad and just look at that cheeky little scamp, Henry. I think he loves the camera and he always seems to be smiling. Hope the difficult days are becoming less, Susan and that you're pleased your DD's leave has been extended. You'll still get time with that little chap and she'll be home longer to see his health improve.

(Do hope he has now recovered from his recent garden incident...) Whatever you're feeling, though, it's finally going to have a good chance of being sorted. Hurrah!!!! Think of all the standing around ironing that will give you so much fun in future! Now there's something you'll be able to bear a grudge about!

Ha! You lot are priceless I cannot feel anything other than optimistic with you by my side, so to speak. 
Assessment went very well. Heart trace is perfect. Blood pressure ditto. BMI spot on. Just one blip...my veins refused to give a drop of blood. It's something that happens all the time. An appointment made with the GP to do the deed in the morning. Could be a wait of up to six weeks for surgery. No time at all, considering how long the problem has been a pain in the butt.
Have not been home long. Will do a few jobs and then, without a doubt, I shall return to catch up with all the latest happenings.
So pleased for you soop, and can't help but agree since you have waited just this side of forever to get this sorted, a few extra weeks shouldn't be a problem ?
Slightly more of a problem is that you now have no blood! . How d'you think that happened? Very remiss of you not to keep an eye on stuff but suppose you have been rather busy these last few months. Hope your GP finds the odd splash tomorrow, or - well - it'll be Tony Hancock and the Blood Donor all over again. Maybe you do just have an empty arm!
I shall not be around to interrogate you later - we are off to the Vet with little Ludo. Again, trying to valiantly sort out his skin problems, so more tests for him. But he's a brave little soldier and today we might get some clarification.

Hellogirl I have to admit that mices are very cute but that is only until you get to considering their weak bladders and that they widdle everywhere continuously! 
I don't think Smokie is sufficiently interested in being a rodent officer so Himself will have to keep his crutches handy and I will keep using the 'helping hand' .
So glad that all went well today soop and the 6 week (max) wait will be by before you know it. Make sure you are very well hydrated before the blood test tomorrow, I need to drink at least a couple of pints - of water grans! Really!!
Although thinking about it I do keep a supply in of 'Old Peculiar' for Himself. It is a relaxant which works very well!
Lins Yes, thank you for the reassurance, Lins. I have had fourteen operations under a full anaesthetic and countless procedures without. I am very familiar with hospitals and have always been treated with the utmost kindness. Aren't we so lucky to have the NHS?

Hellogirl1 We said hello to David. A few changes have been made at Muasdale camping site., including two super log cabins. I wonder whether or not they contain showers or loos. Very smart.
