They disappeared into Diamond Dot's I think, where there is some stripping going on - I think they must be removing the old wallpaper and redecorating.

Oops, silly me - I pushed too hard once again.....

I have given up on Fabrice and Antoine so have placed an advertisement in 'The Lady' for an amanuensis. Obviously, I'll be inundated with applicants so I won't want my lovely home, Teetering Towers, to be used as a venue for the interviews. Would it be possible to use your Argy Bargy establishment for this purpose? I'd be happy to contribute to refreshment costs for the young men. (They have to be young men, it's in the job description) Just simple cocktails and a few canapés. If you can't manage that I could despatch some of my kitchen staff and a few footmen to help out.

How will you manage the Covid safety? We have a sanitising tank at Teetering Towers into which all visitors have to plunge on arrival. Will I arrange for a sanitising tank to be delivered to you? Please remind your customers and staff to enter through it but on no account to drink the fluid or exchange it for others IYSWIM. Also I'll arrange for a confessional booth to be delivered. I bought it from a church. I can carry out the interviews in safety in it. I'll leave it after the interviews as you may be able to use some quiet secluded space for er interviews of your own.

Jane10 don’t worry about the sanitisation tank. We’ve got some of chewys old overalls, brushes and hoses from when she worked at the sewage farm and we can give the applicants a quick going over with the scrubber (if lemon’s willing that is ) ?

Doodle if Farmer Giles has a big one you should invite him. We can put the big pumpkin by the door with Lisagran to tempt in the customers.

I am looking for a costume as my usual day wear - long black dress and pointy hat doesn't look scary enough. I will be bringing Esmerelda, my black cat, who usually sits on my broom step.

Had my suspicions about Lemon soaking her bloomers in the cauldron but I will rinse it out in the stream near the Argy. It's not too mucky if you ignore the green slime.
