I like the telephone triage system at my GP surgery. Sometimes I only need to talk to a doctor rather than visit and this suits me because I no longer feel guilty about wasting GP time. Now the GP can decide whether or not to see me or simply send a prescription. If I take up less time it leaves the GP more time to deal with those who actually need to see him/her in person.

I never ever thought I would have to tell my lovely adult daughters that they can’t come in to their family home. Not that they would have expected to when the rules said they couldn’t.
