Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Such lovely weather for the past few days it surely can't last.
Housey things this morning then meeting a pal for lunch at a garden centre.
DH is not well but he is stoical.
Wishing you all a happy week.

Morning Mick and All from South Bucks.

Waiting in all day ‘perhaps’ for a Doctor’s Telephone Appointment. I can never settled until I’ve received the call and need to carry the phone around with me, what a faff.

Is it a whole year Mick` since your trip to Harrogate? Time does seem to accelerate with age.

Good morning from a very foggy Essex by the sea. The forecast says a warm, sunny day, no sign of it yet.
DH has his flu jab at 08.46, mine is not till October. Not sure what we will be doing after that, depends on the weather.
I do have a pile of ironing that needs doing and some housework and some admin.
Whatever you all do today have the best Monday you can and stay safe xx

Good morning Mick and all

No idea what the wrath is like as my curtains are still closed but u think it is supposed to be dry (again) and mild.

Gym this morning and a Waitrose delivery this afternoon, someone put a photo of the Asda near you on our local twitter Sar53 the pasta and toilet roll shelves were bare I think people are preparing for another lockdown in S E Essex!!!

Thinking of gillybob and other absent friends.

Keep safe and well folks ?‍♀️

Good morning all... mostly cloudy here today, I haven't been to sleep and I have to be at work at 9am in the morning?... hope everybody is well. X

Good Morning all from East Staffordshire. It is warm out already, unless that is one of my ‘twilight years’ hot flushes!!!
I have had an awful weekend at my other job, the details of which I cannot go into obviously but I feel drained this morning and we have a lot to do in the factory so until this evening there is not rest for the wicked’ as they say.

Mick, my DH said that the TDF was a reminder of a race years ago between lamonde and fignon (they are obviously spelt incorrectly?) he enjoyed it immensely.

I am awaiting with baited breath about how the government will deal with the covid situation this week as I am going on holiday with my DD and DGS next Monday to the Southwest.

I hope gilly is ok and I wish everyone good thoughts and send you all a big smile to help you on your way today.????

Ha ha, thanks for my first titter of the day MawB - 'when I au paired in the Alps over 50 years ago (it was so long ago, they’d only just finished them.') Morning everyone, bright sky in south Cornwall. Lying in bed thinking about an invitation I've had to go to Paris next year and wondering if it could possibly happen. Anyway, back to today... breakfast across the road at Wetherspoons and back in time to watch the latest bulletin from Downing Street, oh joy. Have the best day you can, everyone.

Good Morning everyone from Oxfordshire.
Quite still outside and another lovely day forecast.
Ashcombe ? I don't know where La Sarthe is but we love SW France.
Monday morning already so off to work soon.
Best wishes to all and stay safe

Good morning Mick and all to come from N Bucks where it is still too early to judge the weather. The forecast is good though but I’ll probably be inside as I have a BT chap coming to install the new hub in the morning and my Art course (Models and Muses) on Zoom this afternoon. I know - how can I stand the pace grin
Those memories of “this time last year” are all the more precious Mick aren’t they when it’s all we have to go on this year? Wonderful scenery in the TdF bringing back memories of when I au paired in the Alps over 50 years ago (it was so long ago, they’d only just finished them, grin )
Wishing you all a pleasant day!

Bonjour!
We’ve awoken to thick fog here in la Sarthe but the sun will soon clear it as the drought conditions continue. Apart from showers on Friday night, there’s been no rain for weeks in many parts of France.
My husband lives here whilst my permanent home is in Torquay. I’m here for three weeks with the prospect of being in quarantine for two on my return to TQ.
Happy Monday, everyone!

Good morning from dawn in E Kent.
Mick, what will you watch now that the TdF is over. Have the Giro and Vuelta taken place?
DH had convinced himself that the turkey drumstick I was roasting last night was a leg of lamb. I only told him as he was carving. He still didn’t believe me until he hit the tendons - of which turkeys have many!
Another pedestrian day. Cleaning, cooking, sewing.
Trust the sick and sad will have a tolerable day. Stay safe.

Morning Mick, morning All. Goodness it seems dark in our corner of Somerset. Must wake up later smile. We’re promised a dry, sunny day, lovely. Some faffing this morning then a trip out. Take care everyone, keep safe.
