Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark , but looks dry outside this morning here in Brackley , but expecting to have a chill wind when out later.
Today , bus journeys to Buckingham and Bicester via Buckingham .
Depends on whether the cafe in Buckingham are doing pork stuffing baps , in which case if they are comeback to Brackley, if no luck will return via Buckingham .
The past few days i have experienced problems with TV signal and picture on my BT box .
Earlier in the week on normal TV screen picture break up on it, so retuned ,and it cleared , but this also effected my BT box as to channels ,I was getting a 4.3 screen instead of 16.9 screen ,anyway in this case did a total Factory reset ,after awhile and installation the box back to normal .
Take Care ,
Mick

Oops!!! .........a phone call to say that a client who had been in the salon this week has tested positive for Covid so they are shutting today to deep clean.

Blue sky and windy here in S E Essex, might take a trip to a garden centre later.

Thinking of our missing posters, especially gilly ???

Good morning from a sunny cool Morecambe Bay where DH is out running leaving me in bed with my cup of tea.
Didn’t sleep well last night, DS2 phoned late last night in a panic as he hadn’t been paid for his annual leave and was £300 down. He hates the job at the best of times and this was the last straw for him. Being autistic he doesn’t cope well when things go wrong. I calmed him down and assured him it was a mistake and would get sorted and promised I’d lend him the shortfall if it wasn’t sorted quickly. This left me quite worked up and of course I couldn’t sleep. I got up eventually and was amazed to see such a starry night.
We are supposed to having a few days away in out camper next week, but as cases are rising I’m not so confident about going even though we are self contained. A friend has picked it up she thinks while out on a day trip.
Welcome Laura take care and stay safe everyone ?

Good Morning from a very sunny but chilly Black Country.

Had a lovely catch up yesterday with a friend I haven't seen since February. We were in the cafe almost 2 hours!

We should have flown out to Malaga yesterday Urmston! We were last there this time 2 years ago, and we couldn't believe how hot it was then.

Welcome to the thread LauraNorder
Pleased your brother seems to be on the mend Beauregard

Happy 100th Birthday to your Mum Dragonfly. a lovely photo and great to see you back posting.

Wishing you all a pleasant weekend

dragonfly46 Sat 26-Sept-20 08:33:53

Thank you so much for the welcome back and all the lovely PM’s I have had.

Beauregard it is indeed a card from the Queen. Unfortunately my mum lives in a world of her own now and didn’t really appreciate it but she loved the one she got a few years ago for her 70th Wedding Anniversary.

Good morning everyone from a bright and breezy A1 as we travel back to Kent at the end of our holiday in North Yorkshire. We have had a great time and the weather didn’t spoil our plans. Always good to get home though where the joys of defrosting the freezer and other domestic chores await!
Hope everyone has as good a day as you can.

Marydoll Sat 26-Sept-20 08:17:29

Pant, I use my drier all winter as my hands (and me) get too cold and go white hang damp clothes on the line. So 18 years is pretty good.

Grammaretto Sat 26-Sept-20 08:11:00

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. We are having lovely autumn weather of late- Cool, sunny, blue skies. I like it. My favourite season.

DSis is camping in Norfolk this weekend NfkD. Sounds like she'll just have to pack up the tent and come home!
Happy birthday to your DGS.

A busy day for me as I'm helping at 2 art festivals. Nothing all year and suddenly they clash. Lashings of sanitiser and face masks will be required.

Good morning everyone, I have to say I have missed you all!
It is a beautiful sunny day in Leicestershire.

It was my mum’s 100th birthday yesterday - quite an emotional day.

Good morning all from a dry and cloudy Inverness but quite cool again this morning.
Hope your TV is ok now mick and you can enjoy watching it as usual.
I’m off out this morning well wrapped up tp see my DGC and DD2 garden in their garden as recent changes to the Covid rules here mean we can no longer go inside their house. We may have to walk into town to keep warm ...
