Good Morning Everyone ,
Its a dark, wet and windy start this morning with Storm Alex lurking about here in Brackley .
Today, my usual trip to Buckingham and Bicester , plans are to head back home, once I had a coffee and maybe a pork and stuffing bap , then a small shop ,and get bus back, then relax before I watch the Giro on Eurosport .
Take Care ,
Mick

Just popping in to wish EllenVannin and Beauregard a very happy bithday ?????
and to give a warm welcome to 19Marie61 and LadyHonoriaDedlock.
Didn't have time to post this morning as had a lot to do with an early start, but Greyduster is right regarding the weather forecast- it's never stopped raining all day.
Fingers crossed, Scentia that all is well with your GS.
Marydoll I hope you are feeling a bit better.

Just caught up with the birthdays. So, hopefully better late than never, I wish Ellen and Beauregard the best of days, and wishing that the year to follow is kind to you both ???

I have just popped back to wish EllanVannin, a very Happy Birthday, and found all these lovely best wishes for our Granddaughter, on her wedding day.

The video link went fine and I was so emotional as she came through the door with her proud dad, our eldest son. I did dress up, and wore my little hat. DH put on a tie!! his nod to dressing up. I am eagerly awaiting photos now .
Our daughter came and watched with us, and afterwards we had a couple of hours chat. So a very happy day all round.

After all the rain, it is now sunny. Murphy's law.

Marydoll, I do hope you feel better soon.

Good Afternoon everyone. So late today that I wondered if I could be the first on Sunday! No excuses - but the reason was my Son telephoned this morning and three and a half hours just flew by! I know, shameful, but sometimes we just have to behave as if we're retired, don't you think?

Dropped in simply to say

Have the best Birthday in these weird and stressful times, dear Ellan. Know that you're loved, that's the most important thought to hold on to.

Hope your Birthday has been a good one, Beauregard and fingers crossed that your DH rallies sufficiently to celebrate with you this evening. If not, well DD will be a marvellous substitute and maybe he shouldn't push himself too much if he has pain. Just be careful out there - that stinking Virus is creeping around everywhere. Stay safe but enjoy yourselves.

Woah! Scentia, can't even get a few days away without it all going wrong. You spent some time together, that's the main thing. Maybe your little chap will not fare too badly. Fingers crossed that he'll get well quickly with so much youth on his side. No good saying maybe you shouldn't have gone - we can all be really smart with hindsight, can't we? As for your pooch, There.Are.No.Words. In the past I had the same thing happen directly behind me, whilst the Milkman and I laughed and gossiped on the doorstep. (Now I expect words fail you) grin

Urms so sorry and especially as you must be stressed by this news, but don't feel bad that you can't fly to their sides. By the time you got home and quarantined and on and on....they will hopefully be well on the mend. Try not to worry, as long as you're in instant touch. Please continue to take care of yourself and your football-watching man! I'm now about to have a Zoom call with friends in Norfolk. They will probably complain about the weather but I can't make them jealous today - it's just starting to rain. Ah well. Worse things happen at sea - apparently grin

I can certainly feel the warmth of this thread has increased in the last few days as we all hold out our arms for a virtual group hug. It's so wonderful to know that others are thinking of you when you have worries and concerns. The lovely people on this thread are like the 4th Emergency Service.

Huge Saturday hugs to all flowersflowersflowersflowers
