What has made you smile today?

DDs dog ( we are dog sitting) I told her to go into her basket as I was cooking, she wandered over to her toy box, pulled out her teddy and took it into the basket with her and went to sleep, so cute! I just had to go and give her a cuddle.......
Stupid and soft? Moi?

Watching a squirrel in the fence trying to get an apple which was almost as big as he was from a tree. He got it!

A beautiful, bright red sunrise. Lifted the spirits before the clouds arrived, they’re lifting now, sun peeping through shining on the spiders webs in the garden, intricate, lacey, wondrous things.

Repotting Fritillaria and lilies. In doors now waiting for a FaceTime call.

A call from DD3. I can’t say what it was about but have everything crossed.

I left the door to the greenhouse open last night, by mistake. When I got up this morning, I looked out of the bedroom window to see a sparrow rummaging around in the grow bags of tomatoes, looking for his breakfast. When I went down to the garden to have a look, I saw that he'd helped himself to the seeds from inside a burst tomato. I might just cut another one up for him!

Sleeping GS on my lap with his little snuffles, he is teething so this will be our only quiet time today ?
