Guesses?

Lucca Tue 20-Oct-20 16:43:28

Jaxjacky

Lucca agree with you on lockdown. Tier 3 includes your existing bubble I believe.
Won’t bother those with a whole tub of bubble mix?

Sorry does it mean I can continue to see those in my (only) bubble ?

Lucca Tue 20-Oct-20 16:48:01

I’ve just checked the rules thanks.

Lucca Tue 20-Oct-20 16:56:16

Interestingly my bloke just texted “ I have great respect for Andy Burnham, a man of principle and stature unlike those idiots who claim to govern us”

EllanVannin Tue 20-Oct-20 17:00:35

Do you drink TheFrugalPiggy ?

Lucca Tue 20-Oct-20 17:12:53

Goodness he’s actually brushed half his hair.

Whitewavemark2 Tue 20-Oct-20 17:14:00

It’s a comb over

Whitewavemark2 Tue 20-Oct-20 17:15:37

So the £60 million has been withdrawn in a fit of pique and £22 million replaced instead.

What are the poor going to do?

Lucca Tue 20-Oct-20 17:24:33

Classic question avoidance

phoenix Tue 20-Oct-20 17:25:25

Sorry Riverwalk but I try to see the brighter side whenever possible, although it's damn hard sometimes!

Lucca Tue 20-Oct-20 17:25:45

He keeps on about compliance, sorry but it’s enforcement that is needed.

FannyCornforth Tue 20-Oct-20 17:27:59

He's finally had a decent haircut.
He was always doing the disheveled thing to hide his bald spot.
Classic denial.
If only he could just learn to pause instead of saying 'erm'.

Andy Burnham was offered a deal, HE turned it down I do hope he apologises to the people of Greater Manchester.

growstuff Tue 20-Oct-20 17:35:25

It was all the leaders of the councils, nine of whom are Conservatives. It's half of what Merseyside and Lancashire received and Manchester has double the population.

Johnson really is a liar. People won't receive 80% of their incomes on Universal Credit, which is what he claimed. Hopefully the media pick that up soon.

growstuff Tue 20-Oct-20 17:36:50

Manchester also lost over £80 million in business support grants earlier in the year.

EllanVannin Tue 20-Oct-20 17:36:57

People are still flying out of Liverpool on holiday ! What's the matter with people ?

growstuff Tue 20-Oct-20 17:39:07

GG13 It will be Johnson the people of Manchester won't forget.

Ilovecheese Tue 20-Oct-20 17:39:16

We in Manchester were also under quite a number of restrictions, so not much difference on a personal or family level, the people who are going to suffer more are those who will be unable to work. People on low wages will not really be able to manage on two thirds of their wages, even if they can access Universal Credit.
By the way GrannyGravy13 you do know, don't you, that it was not just Andy Burnam that was trying to help these people, but several Conservative MPs and councillors as well.

It’s BJ’s decision - the vindictive vicious b*****d.

TheFrugalPiggy Tue 20-Oct-20 17:49:00

EllanVannin I very rarely drink. Probably only a couple of glasses of wine per month at the most.

suziewoozie Tue 20-Oct-20 17:49:33

And he lies and lies and lies his way through the press briefing.

EllanVannin Tue 20-Oct-20 17:50:23

Sadly it takes something like this for politicians to recognise the huge divide between North and South.

Ilovecheese Tue 20-Oct-20 17:51:19

It is still not clear how much money the Govt. are going to give to help our people who will be unable to work. Starting to give the impression that is is a bit of spite on the part of Government, not a good look.

FannyCornforth Tue 20-Oct-20 17:53:09

suziewoozie I think that it is now becoming apparent that he knows that he is a despicable, not very intelligent, over promoted piece of shit.

MayBee70 Tue 20-Oct-20 18:06:57

I know it’s just a minor detail but I’m really annoyed that Johnson is referring to Jonathan Van Tam as JVT. He was pushed to one side when he criticised Cummings but they’ve had to bring him back because I think he’s someone that people respect and listen to as he seems to be a man of principle.

FannyCornforth Tue 20-Oct-20 18:23:44

Yes, I found the ',JVT' thing iffy.
I think that the journo in ABJ loves that sort of thing.
