Hi all,
I am wearing the attached dress on Christmas day, with ankle boots, 100 denier black tights, a decorative belt and a shoulder bag. I hadn't thought about a jacket but I now wonder if I should have a jacket or wrap or something. What do you think?
Best wishes,
FH x

MawB2, I don't think it's the one at Fenwick. X

This thread is great I so needed a good laugh this morning!

I’m in my 50’s, with a very good figure, and look much younger

You forgot ‘modest’, FH.

Bluebell thanks for the warning, but now I can't get the theme from the twilight zone out of my head.

I’m so sorry Calli! But don’t worry FC exists for those who believe in him! ?????

FlyingHxndbag Fri 23-Oct-20 10:21:23

Calendargirl I'm only repeating what people tell me. X

Agree Yiayia that’s why FH’s threads are so popular! ?

I do, I do, Bluesky
In fact, if you look into the dark sky at Christmas you can see his sleigh going across.

I'd be wearing a hairnet with a dress that short don't know about a fur thong shock

You must be one of the very few people in Scotland FH , who doesn't know who he is. sad
How on earth do you keep up with the regulations?

Jason Leitch stands side by side with Nicola Sturgeon most days, at the daily briefing, giving us advice on what we should or not be doing with regard to Covid.
He is most impressive. I do like a man with a brain.

I don't think you are allowed in a car with someone outside your immediate household, especially for a leisure trip, so that's hit that nail on the head!
Hopefully it will change.

Now this is what I shall be wearing on Christmas Day- or one similar- its a 'slanket'. A blanket with sleeves grin...think you'd be very comfy in this FH...perhaps not as glamorous though!

FlyingHxndbag Fri 23-Oct-20 10:58:31

Mum watches the briefing then tells me. I usually watch these briefings. Very very funny (and also sweary). X

I had a pair of fur lined leggings last winter. Daughter knocked them.

Didn’t they tickle?

Jaxjacky Fri 23-Oct-20 11:04:53

I’m sure the alpaca farm is sticking to the rules, so it’ll be shut. The ‘dress’ looks cheap.
But, reading this thread has kept me entertained for ages, who needs soaps!

I can't stand thigh high boots... they make me look like a lady of the night. X

Never mind the boots , I think the dress , or should I say top , would make you look like a lady of the night .

DiscoGran Fri 23-Oct-20 11:24:58

I quite like the dress, I have a nice red bolero in slightly fluffy knit that would look just right with it.

Thanks for the giggle. Needed that after trawling through the menopause thread.

Well, I’m still clutching my pearls after googling the pretty little things site! I’m off to have a lie down ?‍♀️

I do think it quite shameful FH, relying on your Mother to keep you abreast of current affairs. My 11yr old GD follows events herself and is very clear on all guidelines.
It is far too important for you to personally ignore the guidelines for your area. No excuse.
