Here we are again. As happy as we can be (in the circumstances). All good pals and jolly good company.

Cheers! cupcake wine brew cafe and whatever else that you fancy, providing it's legal. smile

Best wishes for tomorrow BladeAnnie - I will be thinking of you ?
Soop that cat has landed on her feet!

Charleygirl5 Mon 07-Dec-20 18:55:29

ann I think that was a splendid idea- you had good food and more importantly a good night out.

Puzzler I hope the dentist managed to do the job quickly and easily and you are home with Mr. P looking after you. I doubt if Ruby opened an eyelid, probably having slept the day away.

Tara is upstairs resting her eyes. She is slowly learning this is a poor house and more food does not appear magically if she sniffs and walks away.

Fern seems to be enjoying her new abode. I hope MacS has sorted out an entrance for her lovely home so that she does not get wet if the rain is in the wrong direction.

I hope you feel a sense of peace for yourself and your sister as you say a sad farewell to her. Sending my love and will be thinking of you tomorrow afternoon. ?

Puzzler61 Mon 07-Dec-20 19:31:21

My dentist was confident the infection has gone from my gum and removed the offending tooth this evening.
It should all get better now.
Thank you for your kind wishes.

Doodle Mon 07-Dec-20 20:23:33

ann that meal out with your DGD and friends sounds lovely. I’m glad you all enjoyed it.
Soop has Fern got a little friend do you think?
BladeAnnie thinking of you. Take care tomorrow.

Doodle Mon 07-Dec-20 20:24:41

Puzzler sorry I missed mentioning your tooth.
Good it’s out. Hope you feel better soon ?

Charleygirl5 Mon 07-Dec-20 21:00:59

soop could the other little cat be one of Fern's previous offspring? That may be why she did not show it the way out.

cornergran Mon 07-Dec-20 21:09:48

Thinking of you bladeannie, a sad day ahead tomorrow. Look after yourself.

Lins1066 Mon 07-Dec-20 21:22:23

Glad your offending tooth has been removed and
your gum is better Puzzler
Glad you enjoyed your meal ann it all sounded lovely.
It has been a grey cold day, but no fog here. What a beautiful sunset soop, you live in a wonderful spot. NannyT is right, Fern has definitely landed on her paws.
I have made sausage rolls and frozen them uncooked for Christmas, we do enjoy them.
My condolences to you BladeAnnie, a difficult day for you tomorrow, I too will be thinking of you.

Oh yes I think I'm with Tara's Mummy on this one. Did you have access to your Neighbourhood Watch Telescope, soop and, if so, did you find that little cat had any features which might make it a relative of big cat? Or maybe, if your big cat is like our big cat (who is a boy), then little cat might just be a chum of big cat, i.e. big cat is actually a Robbie! Are you following this nonsense so far? I just think that female cats are normally a bit more tentative towards strangers in their territory, hostile even! ?. Our big boy cat loves every other cat - but is neutered and a softy. Our females love no one, only us and most definitely NOT each other. I shall look forward to finding out if the little one re-appears.

BladeAnnie so much sadness for you. Take care, please. Puzzler bet you're so glad that's over. Poor you. Feel more comfortable soon. Love your stockings, NannyT so pretty - how talented you are, and what chubby little feet you must have ?. GrandmaB how very annoying that your medical appointment was cancelled. Hope you had a peaceful day (with the choir) and enjoyed a rest instead.

Wishing you all goodnight, sweet dreams, and only good things tomorrow. Hugs from French France.

Puzzler61 Mon 07-Dec-20 21:49:44

Thank you Doodle, Lins and Grandmafrench. Night night. ?

Charleygirl5 Tue 08-Dec-20 05:29:31

Puzzler I hope you had a decent night's sleep.

I woke up very early- roasting hot to discover my central heating had switched itself on but there are no lights on etc. I would not like to know what the T was but the place was roasting. I only hope the gas engineer can come today because I do not like this situation which I cannot control.

Needless to say Tar is enjoying this heat although I have tried switching everything off.

I discovered totally by accident yesterday my £10 Christmas winter fuel allowance was in my bank account. I almost missed it.

Puzzler61 Tue 08-Dec-20 10:35:58

Good morning and thank you Charleygirl I had a good night . It’s not nice to wake in a sweat, I hope your heating blip can be sorted quickly. I suppose it’s better than a heating breakdown now it’s winter?
Hurrah! You have received payment of your winter allowance! The system works ?

Puzzler61 Tue 08-Dec-20 10:40:23

GrannyGravy13 Tue 08-Dec-20 13:13:33

Sending you a virtual (((hug))) BladeAnnie thanks

soop Tue 08-Dec-20 13:26:54

Ann Mollie is a poppet. No need to contact the cat protection league. That pose says it all. She is a lovely, lucky girl.

Puzzler Yep! The winter fuel wotsit is a blessing. Aren't we lucky.

Charleyg Felines seem to "rest their eyes" with such grace. As I speak to Fern thorough the window, she slowly closes her eys as if to say...woteva...wink

Lins Hot sausage rolls. A treat that I look forward to at this time of the year. When in the past, a friend did a Boxing Day spread, she always cooked a huge tray of mini pork sausages in the Aga. The salmon and such got a brief look-in, the mini sausages were by far the favourite party food.

Fern missed her evening meal. shock. Throughout the evening, I was up and down like a yo-yo. I finally switched off the outside light at 11:11. Early this morning, she was back in residence and famished. Naturally, I gave her a severe talking to. Frankly, she looked bored and merely blinked and yawned. grin

kittylester Tue 08-Dec-20 13:46:50

I hope today passed peacefully you bladeannie. Very sad.thanks

Loving all the cat tales and photos. I've added a photo of two of ours - Kiwi is the (all) black one and Maisie is the one playing hide and seek!

I'm now going back to try to tame the Body shop website - I will not let the b****r beat me.

NanaandGrampy Tue 08-Dec-20 14:03:12

Afternoon all,

I have been missing in action or inaction as it happens and totally out of the loop . So I have some serious catching up to do.

I'll just send you all my best wishes for now an d I'll be back later x

Puzzler61 Tue 08-Dec-20 14:09:11

Lovely to see Mollie ann and Kiwi kitty.
I would have missed Maisie if you hadn’t mentioned her.
soop do you think Fern is letting you know that she has been in charge of her own comings and going’s thus far in her life and has no intention of “clocking” in and out of your Cat-o-tel, gorgeous though it is? It will always be on her terms. ?‍⬛ ?
