Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but its dry outside herein Brackley this morning .
I had all that I ordered online yesterday by post ,and UPS the later one surprised me, it was the Xmas stamps which I thought would be delivered by royal mail but not that way for a small envelope package .
See the new Antiques Road trip on TV with both having to drive separate classic cars.
Take Care,
Mick

Good Morning from Durham. Two dry days in a row - could get used to this! It is grey though and DH says it’s cold.
DD2’s dogs here again - playing with each other upstairs.
Big shop yesterday in Sainsbury’s and was stupidly annoyed to see 2 youngish chaps (20’s) in, just to buy a 40p can of Coke each. My trips are planned like a military op - in and out, no browsing and only go when absolutely necessary.

Not a lot planned today - a walk with the older dog, but might risk taking the puppy along.

Hope everyone has the best day today. X

Good morning from a cloudy damp Morecambe Bay. It’s dry now but there’s been rain during the night.
Love your pics Ashcombe. As a child we would wander over Daddy Hole Plain. My father was looking for some sort of metal storage tank on which his father had carved his name as a child. We didn’t find it, Dad reasoned it must have been taken away for the war effort. They lived in Torquay for a few years. My grandfather was a gambling man, and they lost the house as a consequence and moved back to Manchester to stay with family until they got back on their feet. That probably explains why I’m a northerner!
I have cut DH’s hair for years. A couple of years ago he started criticising my cut so I refused to do it again and said he would need to go to the barbers. He didn’t like that cut either. After 3 visits I relented as it looked better when I did it. The real problem was DH’s progressive lack of hair!
Thinking of all who are missing, and those with worries, pains and problems. Take care and stay safe everyone ?

Good morning everyone from a dry, cold West Yorkshire.
Big cat has had her breakfast and gone back to bed.
It will be strange not going to the memorial in town today.
Talking of haircuts, I cut my fringe yesterday, it looks alright!
Time to make another drink and think about what to do today. I am watching too much TV, just for company instead of doing jobs that need doing.
Thinking of all those Ill or troubled and stay safe and well in these strange times ?

Good morning,
It's a dull, grey but slightly breezy morning today in South Yorkshire, but at least the fog has gone.
No plans for today so will just see what unfolds.
Some lovely photos posted again today, thank you.
I've only flicked through the posts whilst drinking my tea, so will come back to read properly after my shower. Take care everyone, and ??to all our missing posters and those of you feeling sad or worried.

Good morning everyone. It's a dry day in my part of Co. Durham. I've been sitting in waiting for my washing machine to arrive. This is my third one so fingers crossed this one will be ok.

Good morning all from a soggy Lancashire. The cloud seems to be clearing now. The new hanging rails for the airing cupboard are due to be delivered this morning so I will be bagging and storing summer clothes. If I have time and energy I will go for a walk later.

Oo thanks Marydoll!

Grandmabatty Wed 11-Nov-20 10:24:03

Marydoll that just made me laugh out loud! I wonder what I look like in your dream? ?. I definitely would not be searching for that particular dog owner. I do love dogs and miss having one around but I decided that I really didn't fancy going out in all weathers. Yet here I am, going out with dgs in all weather. ?

Marydoll Wed 11-Nov-20 10:32:44

Grandmabatty, you are very privileged to be allowed to participate in my dream!?
I would love to say that you were tall, slim and stunningly attractive. Unfortunately, you were just a shadowy figure!

HAZBEEN Wed 11-Nov-20 10:37:45

Good morning everyone! Sorry about yesterday, I was having one of those "Woe is me" days! I was feeling out of control because of the evil little bu**er working its nasty little ways inside me and anyone who knows me will tell you I am a total control freak! Still Big Girl Pants on time to get on! I will beat this!
Today my plan is to sort out all the Christmas presents I have squirrelled away and see if I have anything left to buy!
The sun is just poking through here near Heathrow so I might also have a stroll around the communal gardens.
Stay safe everyone, special hugs for all that need them and a big thank you to Marydoll for your kindness.

Good morning Mick and all from a grey west lancs. I too miss EV, strange when someone disappears.
Very pleased to be told yesterday that my largish mole is benign and.just part of getting older, now to await my mammogram results, the bc medication and its side results are annoying but must be done.
Housework today, birthday presents to be ordered, quite a list from my gd and I’m listening to The Railway Children on audiobook for escapism.
Thoughts as always to the worried and sick,

Hallo again - I did spell Ellan's name right in the PM but as Mary says I think there are other things afoot. I hope she comes back soon.

Daddima Wed 11-Nov-20 10:52:34

Dreich again in East Dunbarton. I remembered in the middle of the night that I have to take or send my jury citation to my GP, so it’ll be going into the post box. Another shelf to be cleared ( into the bin!), then I’ll finish my book. Rock n’ roll, eh?

Gwenisgreat1 Wed 11-Nov-20 10:55:31

Good Morning all from dry Harrogate, wasn't sure why I wanted to know about Lidl, cause where we stay in Llandudno is a short walk from Aldi. I can't wait to get back there (to Llandudno), I have a friend in The Junction who is not very well just now, I suspect Cancer, cause she has to go to Liverpool for treatment.
Yesterday I cleaned my acrylic paint tubes (thought I was going have to replace them, but they re fine now.). No real plans for today, but have an accumulation of bananas, so feel I might have to make some banana bread.
Hope all are as well as they can be - enjoy!

Gwenisgreat1 Wed 11-Nov-20 11:10:30

Kalu and Marydoll - you have to see what you have started!! Even before we were married ,1970, he had a very bad haircut, I told him I could do better for free - I've done it ever since!!!

Nannytopsy Wed 11-Nov-20 11:11:19

Good morning Mick and all his followers. Grey but still in Suffolk this morning.
Currently sitting outside the dentist, waiting my turn. It’s a new dentist, the first time since our move, so I have sent DH in first! A root filling without anaesthetic in my student days made me very wary of new dentists.
I think it may be housework when we get home. ?
I hope the day is kind to everyone.

Hello everybody!
I have just finished my online order for Waitrose Click and collect. Having applied the Honey discount I got £3 off. Last week I got £10 off. If you do online shopping it really pays to install Honey! Just put the word Honey into your computer and sign up.
Take care, and have a lovely day.

Grandmabatty Wed 11-Nov-20 12:27:14

Marydoll, how did you know? You've got me to a tee! ☺ Or perhaps the complete opposite may be closer to the mark. Think of those dolls 'weebles' and you've got me. I'll keep the stunningly attractive though.

Marydoll Wed 11-Nov-20 12:35:38

GB, That's exactly the shadowy image in my dream, sorry!!!! blush

I need help, I think!!!

GrannyGravy13 Wed 11-Nov-20 12:51:51

At the beginning of the first lockdown GrandpaGravy bought hair clippers, I refused point blank to use them as I quiet like being married and not ready for a divorce.

So DD has been doing his hair after all she has been clipping her horses since she was eleven?????

Feelingmyage55 Wed 11-Nov-20 12:58:21

I was late going out for my walk and late back. It is quite mild but damp here in the north of Scotland. I have also prepared for a zoom quiz tonight. If I post early I get completely derailed. There were planes flying over last night. Practice manoeuvres I think.
HAZBEEN ? for you.
