On the Crossroads theme, I was always told I had “a nice face, dear” and often that I looked “like Jane off Crossroads”! Jane was the waitress. I’m sure she was a lovely person, but it’s not what you want to hear as a teenager!

I might have been in the traffic jam he caused
I heard an announcement on R2 Traffic News to avoid the M40 near Oxford just as I joined the jam.
