My lovely Mum bought me this. She’s been dead for eleven years. I shall always treasure it.

My motto for lockdown. I gets me going when I find that my day is revolving around what's for dinner and when can I get into my pyjamas?

What a kind-hearted GS Maw.

Last year I was visiting DD1 and the family a few weeks after their holiday on Crete when DGS (9) shyly presented me with a little package in a paper bag with Greek writing on it
My D admitted she was puzzled because she had no idea what was in it.
The children had apparently each been given some pocket money to buy something for themselves and DGS had been somewhat secretive.
This was it and I was incredibly touched - he said he had wanted to bring something back for Granny as I couldn’t go away.
Bless him, of course it is my favourite!

I don't really like fridge magnets - the only one I have is "Keep Calm and Carry on". It was bought for me by my eldest daughter and has been of use many times grin

Don't really go in for fridge magnets, but this one was bought on a school trip by late DS2 for Mr P, his stepfather.

Beautiful Santorini. Somewhere I never in my wildest dreams thought I would visit but I did.

Some of mine. Note the name of the boat!

I have 3 fridge magnets
two of them are my nieces daughters based in Manitoba Canada.
The third is from the UCI World Cycling Championships which took place In Yorkshire and centred on Harrogate .

Haven’t got any now but a good one when my boys were teenagers “a mother’s place is in the wrong”

And “boring women have immaculate homes”

I went to Liverpool and brought this lovely chap home with me.

I will see if I can add mine, having a bit of trouble with the technology at the moment. It is an angel which I think I bought from a gift shop in Exmouth. She broke her neck despite being well packed during a house move so the little necklace hides the join!

Lovely to see the happy reminders Tanith and Puzzler and hilarious to read yours Grandmabatty? - they don’t need to be romantic, the funnies are ?

Grandmabatty Sat 21-Nov-20 10:06:31

Here's the opposite sentiment! I don't really have a favourite as I have lots given to me by family from all over the world.

This one my sil to be gave us on our wedding day 26 yrs ago a reminder of such a lovely day. Sadly DH is no longer with me.

Puzzler61 Sat 21-Nov-20 08:47:45

Awwww you romantic soul Pants ?
This is the prettiest on our fridge, but there are about 40 on it. Collected on holidays and places DH visited during his working life.

Had a new fridge freezer delivered yesterday and de cluttered the old one before moving it to the garage.

I’ve kept the one that’s special to me, see here, so let’s have a pic of yours please....
