Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark, dry and cold here in Brackley this morning.
Early evening late afternoon I walked across to get my usual Saturday Chinese Take Away ,and saw the towns Xmas display, was switched on.
Yesterday, I also received my first xmas card, which will prompt me to get my list ready and start , I have a niece in Canada and she will be my first one, as I will have to use post office to weigh etc before sent .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning Mick, Annie* and all. Another lazy day here.
We have just listened to our Church service on line, and lit the first Advent candle. A light to all.
I thought I had a whole box of tea lights, but cannot find them, so will have to buy some next week.

Dragonfly, we have been on a similar journey for two years. I was diagnosed on my GS's birthday. But, I haven't had as hard a time as you. Sending you all best wishes in your continuing recovery.
Can't be bothered to cook a roast today, so will have spaghetti bolognese. The sauce has come out of the freezer, so easy peasy.
Yesterday afternoon I watched Swallows and Amazons, I have never seen the film or read the book. Nice easy, peaceful viewing.
Also finished a Jessie Burton book, The Confession, which I enjoyed after a slow start.
Missing our Gillybob, and wish we had some news of her and her little family.
There are lots of sadnesses around, so hugs and love to one and all.
Have a good day .

A late good morning to everyone. I had a quite disturbed night, pain in my legs and hip (arthritis) and ended up reading for a while. Then fell back asleep about 6am which resulted in me not getting up until almost 10am.
OH is cooking lunch (roast pork, roasties etc) as usual so I have read the papers and now time to read through everyones posts, I am so lazy!
Grand Prix to watch later as we treated ourselves to Sky sports subscription yesterday (OH is delighted he can now watch his team Man United live!).
Stay safe all.

Dragonfly and Auntyflo
It will be 21 years on Tuesday since I got my probable diagnosis, confirmed on the 8th, op on the 15th and home on the 22nd , things moved quickly in those days.
I obviously don’t know your ages but you have many more years to look forward to.
