You are one minute from Tower Bridge! I do envy you. I haven't been in London for about 18 months. Last time we visited Hampton Court and loved it.

Gransnet keeps me company and gets me through many difficult days when I have little energy and more so at the present moment when contact with friends and family is very limited. I hope it does the same for you.

That’s good, hope you have some treats planned. You can’t delete messages, you have to click on ‘report’ then just type in the text box that you made a mistake and want it deleted. It’s not very sophisticated forum software I’m afraid ?

Welcome EvieJ always good to have new posters on GN. Don't worry about making mistakes we all do it and sometimes gives us something to laugh about.
There are ups and downs here but that makes it interesting, no need to get involved with anything you don't like.

Life is full of ups & downs , so nothing new there but will be something new for me to read or comment on.

I've lived alone for about 7 years so i'm quite used to it.
But now we're all in tier 4, i'm finding it little strange, as can't just pop out and see someone.
This site will help combat the quite times

London is lovely but very pricey now.
I do love living so close to the bridge, night views are stunning.

Nice to know, this site has helped you through difficult times.
We all need somewhere to go and chat at the moment.
As you say, family and friends are off limits at the moment.
