Seems Harry & Meghan have quit social media ‘for good’.

I'm not surprised as they must have received some flack---constantly. Quite an unpopular couple.
They didn't exactly make a good job of remaining anonymous being that Harry had blamed the media for his mother's death.

It doesn’t seem to be an announcement, just a comment from somebody who knows them. Though I must say it seems fully in line with their wish to keep them private lives private so I say “Good for them”.

Well, The court case starts tomorrow in which she is suing the Daily Mail!!

I don't quite get it, because isn't spotify a social media company, and Netflix to an extent? They have recently signed deals with these, so I guess they still want to get themselves heard but without the constant criticism.

Ellianne they are like TV programmes or podcasts. I don’t use Spotify or Netflix (other streaming services are available) and I have no idea what content they’re planning. I think somebody on GN said they would be interviewing people.

I don’t ‘do’ social media (apart from GN) of any kind but this high profile couple most certainly do so I suppose it must be a big announcement?

Meghan has lost each part of the case so far as the lawyers deal with each part before the main part. She is suing over privacy re her fathers letter.. She lost first part because it was proved she had already released the content of the letter to friends and then invaded her own privacy with the book finding freedom! This is on bbc news each time!

I think it's just another example of H&M ditching something that no longer serves them.

They had more than 10 million Instagram followers but they will cut them loose because they now have bigger fish to fry.

The quote that they have received an 'almost unsurvivable amount of abuse' is very 'Meghan' and inappropriate for these times of real suffering and grief.

In short, they don't know the half of it!

But there were many reports that Meghan actuallydid announce her pregnancy at a wedding - that of Eugenie.

I would imagine she has received enormous amounts of abuse, women on social media tend to.
