Funny how so many of us dislike milk, my school days were marred by the white stuff, Thatcher the Milk Snatcher's reign was years away! but could have done with her for that purpose. Then there was all manner of white stuff with lumps in, potatoes, rice pudding etc. However, those days are long gone, but neat milk continues to make me gag, although I like it in coffee and tea.
I'm not a fussy eater, but innards and offal is off limits for me. Tripe doesn't bear thinking about.
Of late I've gone off eggs in a big way, I can eat scrambled flavoured with chives or smoked salmon, or an omelette with chorizo, peppers and other ingredients that disguise their flavour. What I don't want to taste is egg!, a fried egg would just make me heave these days. A shame because they are an excellent source of protein.
Quorn and tofu yet to be convinced, don't like them.
Aubergines, they look so attractive in their natural form, I can eat them but they're slimy and unappetising to me.
