You have just won a competition ( maybe not on GN), for a lifetime’s supply of the last thing you bought. What have you won?

Me: Graded pieces of music for the clarinet and Sauvignon Blanc.

Black jeggings for my daughter for work . A lifetime supply wouldn't be to bad as she goes through work trousers like nobody's business .

Vets fees for my dog who developed epilepsy last week (somewhat frightening experience for us both!). I'll definitely take those fees paid for his lifetime - £173 for one emergency diazepam rescue kit!!

Fire alarms! At least these are for the block of flats I live in and the block next door. So we need 6 alarms in all and may well use 6 in the next 10 years.

Children's books. Think this might be a good thing. I can keep a selection for GC and set up a free library for children who don't get books, or create a school library, or do a give away website for children all round the world. Oh I am having a lovely time thinking what to do with my prize!

The last thing I bought was a few days worth of food from Iceland for £50 pounds. I wouldn't want that for life I would soon get tired eating the same food every week.

A Pilates mat.

Bottle of Malt Whisky for the Haggis, and a wee nip for the next few months.

A workbook to go with the Emotionally Healthy Spirituality book I bought just beforehand. I was kind of hoping that, once I’d done the course, I wouldn’t have to keep repeating it until I pop my clogs!

Fantastic thread. So interesting to see what everyone is buying during lockdown. Mine is a charcoal grey soft knit poncho, with sleeves, from a small dress shop locally. The owner has started to put a few things on Facebook, she models them too. I was soooooooo tempted to buy the lime green one but will start safely with the grey. A bargain I hope at £35 and will keep
out a few evening chills in the conservatory, and be easy to slip on and off during the day/evening. Had a nice convo with owner online and glad to have helped out a small, local independent trader. If I win my first free one will be the lime green!! Then she will have to source other colours. Put in your requests gransnetters cos I wont need them all !! Could make her a millionaire ...
