Shut your eyes and where would you like to be right now ?

I’d be camping on Anglesey with my family. It would be the warmest, sunniest February on record .

Because it’s a dream, my mum would be with us again. We camped as a whole family (Mum, Dad, and us AC with our families) every year.

My flat in Paris with the window open so I could hear and smell the noises and scents which are like nowhere else in the world.

I want to be in the UK and visit Cornwall.

Simples! Australia, we always miss our family (son, DIL, two granddaughters) but never more so than now and wonder how long it will be before we can see them again.

In our gorgeous home in Crete with our children and grandchildren with us. Might be a bit of a squeeze but we would manage ?

I'd be with DH on the beach of the fabulous Waves hotel in Barbados, sipping a cocktail and listening to the gentle lapping of the waves on the shore. The sun would be shining out of a clear blue sky and the sea as warm as a bath...just bliss

Having a cup of tea and chat with my much-loved parents, who sadly died many years ago!

1. In Spain with our family staying at the villa where we had our last family holiday in 2019.

2. Where we should have been at the moment - enjoying a late lunch at a Winery in South Africa!

And the reason I'd choose Australia and New Zealand is that I can have life there because they are almost covid free.

A truly beautiful and magical hotel that I miss going to so much.
However I have the memories and photos as consolation.

Disneyland Paris with my 3year 4 month GD. We were booked as a family last May, postponed until September then cancelled. I really want to take her before DH
and I are too old and feeble to do it.

Out for lunch when my friends before heading to a matinée musical in Belfast Opera House so we can sing at the top of our voices.

"Upside down, feeling the slipstream in my face, at about 3000 feet above the ground." In other words, doing aerobatics at a relatively low height in a Tiger Moth (which has an open cockpit, allowing one to feel the wind in one's face). To be specific, I'd be half-way through a looping manoeuvre and (assuming I'd done the first half correctly) upside down but still in good bum-contact with my seat, rather than hanging in my straps. Few better feelings in this life.
