Maybe exactly where you are, maybe somewhere else.
I’d like to be in Far North Queensland!

Just at this moment I'd be thrilled to be in my bathroom cleaning my teeth.
I'm into week two of Covid-19 and really don't know when I last performed any personal hygiene tasks, I'm just beginning to care so things may be on an upturn. Phew!

In the south of France by the pool with my 3 adult children ( aged 26, 24 and 22) and my son's girlfriend. It was the most precious moment and I never realised. 4 weeks later my elder son got ill and died. That was 11 years ago and I still shut my eyes regularly and imagine I'm there. Also would love to be just sitting on an English beach with my 3 grandchildren. Such a simple wish that we all never realised this time last year most of us would be longing for again. I will never take the simple things for granted after this is all over.

Laurensnan - I am so glad that you have this wonderful scene in your memory bank.

I would like to be on the Pembrokeshire coast path in the sunshine, with the sound of children playing wafting up from the beaches.

sitting having a picnic, with my family in the Colosseum, Rome. Enjoying Italian wine, Italian fresh fruit and warm bread.
All with the people I love most in the world.

Somewhere with a lovely view, watching the Sea and the Wildlife, and probably Cruising along on a Boat. I always Dreamed of sailing off on a World Cruise one day, but the realities of life always prevented me from Doing so!

Now DH is Too old to be accepted for such a Cruise, and I would struggle to get the necesary Health insurance cover to enable me to go, so it will just have to stay a Dream and nothing else for us!

Anywhere with my family. My grandson is 3 months old today and I last saw him on November 9th when I left Germany where they moved when he was less than a month old. My DD lives in Scotland, 400 miles away and I last saw her in October just after my grandson was born. Who knows when we can be together again,

Somewhere nice and warm and sunny! Certainly not in Scotland, where I live, and where the weather at the moment is sleet and freezing cold! ????????. I can speak French quite well, so the South of France would suit me very nicely! ??
Alternatively, Australia or New Zealand would do, as I have friends there! ??

Totally with you nanna8 Far North Queensland! On Four Mile Beach, Port Douglas to be precise where we were Christmas 2019 fabulous memories with no inkling of what chaos was about to descend upon the world.

Bought a house in Italy with my pension money when I finally recovered from cancer (never know what’s round the corner) but haven’t been able to get out there since November 2019. I would sooooo love to be there now but I can’t. Money is going to run out soon so will have to sell the house in order to have enough to live on. It was a sanctuary but Hey Ho I’m alive and I do actually have some money to live on. Life’s a s* sometimes.
