Good evening special peeps! So pleased your technical hitch is resolved, soop. You've had enough tanglements with wires and switches to last a lifetime recently.
Lovely photographs, lovely memories and such a pretty girl!! The nicest thing is that you're still recognisable as that same pretty girl. (I just heard Mr Soop breathe a sigh of relief).
I'm not going to go through the whole gang with mentions and well wishes because we don't want to risk another hurt face from Urms. See, I fell for it. Now I've mentioned her.
And again...... did the Soap Dish again tonight, Urms. Delish as before, thank you. ?
I love watching something on iPlayer or the Hub or even on Youtube which I know will make me laugh. Last night watched selected rants on Would I Lie to You from David Mitchell'. I'm such a fan. DH and I were in fits and it's so nice to end a day with guaranteed laughter.
This afternoon I did all sorts of garden things. DH cut the grass and I moved pots of bulbs which are just coming into flower to a place where we'd have a better view. I got all excited when I saw how enormous the offshoots of our Yucca have got since last summer. I'm going to take advantage of the extra plants by cutting them off and planting them, either in pots or directly into the ground. Garden views will have to be strictly from an outside seat for the mo' since - for the preceding 36 hours - the raging winds and damp air managed to not just rattle all our shutters to the point of madness and keep us awake for 2 nights, they've carried what must be most of a North African sand hill into our garden, onto every tile and window, the cars, the furniture. Just call me Lawrence of Arabia, or Beryl the Bedouin ! I was not about to spend the afternoon doing boring cleaning outside so whilst DH jet washed the cars, I pruned and weeded and Miracle Gro'd every pot and plant. We then sat out and had tea. We were in the middle of a fairly subdued conversation when the little green terrors arrived: 2 or maybe 3 little frogs. 2 sat away to our right and an odd one obviously arrived from the left. The odd one gave the others a life update until they were absolutely shouting and the more we raised our voices to talk, the louder they got. This is true - that seems to be a tiny tree frog thing! Get up to walk in their direction? Total silence. Walk away again? Bedlam! Think this is just the advance party - March isn't quite here yet.
All and anyone who needs a hug, I'm sending a big box of them ?. Please use as necessary! Hope you have a good night's sleep and a real Spring (???) in your step when you wake tomorrow. Come on chaps, we can dream.
Nighty night to you all from the Vaccine wastelands of Southern France. x
