Megan and Harry again!

Can someone please enlighten me in letting me know what was wrong in Harry and meghan saying "service is universal"? Surely it is. We also like to help each other and provide a service to each other when we can, that's what I'd like to believe anyway. Isn't this what they meant? There's seems to be a lot of H & M bashing again over this, however, it's all gone quiet over Prince Andrew's alleged sexual relationship with an underage girl. Am I missing something?

Harry's and Meghan's baby, if born in the USA will be able to run for President of the United States one day. That'll be interesting, maybe that's the long term goal, let the grooming begin.

Haven't seen that Forsythia but isn't she 6 months pregnant so that's bound to show on such a slim figure and her bum was very evident on the photograph they released.

Yes and that’s is what confuses me. Very pregnant, six months approx in the photo. Yet, in yesterday’s Spotify release video in all of the newspapers today no sign of the bump. Most confusing. After all, whether standing or sitting, the bump is still visible in pregnant ladies as I know from my own daughter currently 5 months pregnant.
Perhaps it’s a trick of the camera lens in the Spotify video.

One way of getting our colonies back, perhaps the whole royal family is in on it.

Yes NellG the Queen always faces the world with dignity no matter what is hitting the headlines.

I’ve been reflecting and would like to apologise for the use of the word ‘gutter’. I should have said unsubstantiated gossip not gutter level gossip,

I have a feeling that the photograph may be from Meghan's pregnancy with Archie

Smileless2012 Tue 23-Feb-21 16:18:09

Oh I hadn't thought of that GrannyLaine, a bit odd though if it is.

Just had the music from the Omen flit through my mind...

Sorry, that was facetious, but meant humorously.

On a serious note, why not? He/she's as yet an empty vessel, if his parents are the people they believe themselves to be the new baby, or Archie could make a phenomenal politician.

Remember the warning of Bear Grills - caution ladies, do not fall down the bog! wink

Do you mean the one recently released to announce the pregnancy? I believe that to be recently taken.

If you mean some that are further up the thread showing Meghan cradling her bump (which in all honesty I never saw as an issue} I believe those are from her pregnancy with Archie.

Ellianne Tue 23-Feb-21 16:29:02

The photo can't be from the first pregnancy, Harry has far more hair this time. Either due to covid closing all the barbers or from getting a transplant.

Smileless2012 Tue 23-Feb-21 16:29:46

For goodness sake suziewoozie quoting GannyLaine's post which doesn't mention the word liar and then asking if she's calling the photographer a liar could be regarded as "libellous. Unsubstantiated gossip".

If she is saying the photograph is from the first pregnancy she is saying quite explicitly the photographer is lying about having taken it. For goodness sake yourself

Anniebach Tue 23-Feb-21 16:58:35

It’s obvious it’s a commissioned photograph , I didn’t know it had been release on St.Valentine’s Day !

I am happy for them that Megan was able to conceive soon after the miscarriage.

Rosie51 Tue 23-Feb-21 16:58:55

I'm sure GrannyLaine can defend herself but what part of I have a feeling that the photograph may be from Meghan's pregnancy with Archie (my bold of may), do you take as explicit accusation of lying?

Smileless2012 Tue 23-Feb-21 17:03:27

But she isn't saying that is she suziewoozie as you know because you've posted "If she is saying .........".

NellG Tue 23-Feb-21 17:23:58

Ladies, I've had a post deleted which is fine - I think this is an interesting discussion and I'd like to see the thread stay so it might be an idea if we all double check what we post.

LauraNorder Tue 23-Feb-21 17:33:59

Oh dear, which silly billy did that. I'm off, heated debate is quite acceptable, schoolgirl tactics not, in my opinion.

Smileless2012 Tue 23-Feb-21 17:34:29

Good point Nellsmile.

Ellianne Tue 23-Feb-21 17:35:22

Was it the mention of dog poo?

maddyone Tue 23-Feb-21 17:39:02

It is absolutely true that the press treated both Meghan and Catherine badly. In that suziewoozie is correct. After the engagement the press started to write about Catherine more favourably, whilst the press initially treated Meghan favourably but seemed to become more hostile over time. I would guess that this was because Meghan seemed to become quite dominant in the relationship and was frequently observed to ignore established protocols, such as walking ahead of Harry or other members of the royal family, when protocol dictates apparently that she should not do this. Now Gransnetters can think this is a load of old tosh if they want to, but it is a fact that the protocols are adhered to in public life. In private, I guess they do as they like. I’m not saying that I agree or disagree with these protocols, just that they are part of royal life, and if a person marries into the royal family and accepts all the privileges and wealth, then they must respect the protocols.

maddyone Tue 23-Feb-21 17:43:02

My opinion of the pregnancy announcement photo is that it was pretentious. It’s the kind of photo I would expect to see in Hello magazine, when I sit at the hairdressers waiting for my colour to take. It’s not a very dignified photo in my opinion, and as before mentioned, it reminds me of a celebrity photograph in a magazine.

JaneJudge Tue 23-Feb-21 17:47:57

They are celebrities now though and will get good incomes off magazines I suppose
