Good morning everyone from a grey Northampton. I didn't manage to get out in the garden yesterday as the grass was very wet underfoot. So a day was spent reading the papers, watching catch-up on tv and knitting. And I had a nice long chat with a friend who phoned in the afternoon.
I have finished the tricky neck shaping on the front of my jumper, and have now started on the sleeves. Being extra chunky wool and thick needles means it grows really quickly.
DS has just texted to say they are thinking of booking a holiday cottage in the summer and would I like to join them? Would I heck!!! I have just called him back to say book as soon as possible so I can get the cats booked in as the catteries are filling up. They are hoping to book today.
Feeling a bit more cheerful after that. Fingers crossed for the bookings.
Take care and stay safe everyone.
