Anyone know when proper church services will resume?

Not for me - am not a church goer - but my very elderly mum keeps asking me when she can go to church again. They do zoom services but she’s a) not zoom competent and b) wants the social aspect more than the religious not. I know we have to be patient but she keeps asking. I’ve looked through the ‘roadmap’ today and can’t see anything? She also likes to go to lunch at the local Sally Army. It says community centres open in April but nothing else.

Our church has been gradually working toward normal services for sometime Polarbear. There's still social distancing but not everyone's wears a mask.

We're singing again and although there'll be no sharing of the chalice during Communion, this Sunday we will be going up the alter rail for the first time since restrictions began.

Sorry, I hadn't realised this thread was last posted on in March so presumably things are getting back to normal for your mum's church too.

Our smallish church is mostly back to normal, although Communion is taken in wafer only.
In my daughter's church, masks are worn if not sitting down, and for hymn singing (!).
