But the trouble is Prince Philip has made a number of racist comments as has Harry to be honest so I am not sure why I should believe that.

Hmmmm - I’d pay good money to listen in on that conversation ?

He doesn't usually comment walking along does he?
He must feel a bit hurt and disappointed.

William has spoken out. ‘ we are very much not a racist family’

Good for him

faringdon59 There seem to be conflicting reports re the body language depending on which 'side' is asking the questions. I think it's true that a huge amount of what we communicate is non verbal, however I also believe that body language is specific to the person. For instance you twiddled your ring when you had doubts about your marriage, someone else might twiddle their hair. But I see the symbolism. When engaging in stressful conversations DH lines things up exactly, like coasters and cups etc. I've even known him unconsciously line up people's ornaments! He has no awareness he's doing it at the time, but it's his 'thing' when he's nervous.

Having said that, it's impossible to be certain that H's body language pointed to the things you suggest because 'we' would need to be able to observe his stress responses over time to have any certainty, but it was definitely uncomfortable viewing. One thing I think is clear is that he's not a happy man anymore and the 'blame' is ricocheting.

Lucca perhaps you should be ‘one’ ???

Well of course ! One does have an extremely tenuous connection.......one’s brother in law’s niece dated our Harry for a while

Lucca, I didn't know you were 'we'.

Oh dear. Ok then do you know that for a fact ? Or is it known to be a fact ?

My feelings after watching the interview were what an awful situation Harry is now in. He has a vulnerability within him due to what happened to Diana and the way it was handled after.
Prior to leaving my husband 20 years ago I developed a habit of sliding my wedding ring up and down my finger (so much so that one day it fell off at work and rolled across the floor and I was embarrassingly on my knees searching for it.)
Psychologists say this is a subconscious sign of someone wanting to leave the relationship.
I'm actually surprised more has not been said about their body language. But let's remember Meghan had a career in acting and will probably return to this in the future.
When Harry joined the interview I noticed he is doing this with his wedding ring.
Body language and mannerisms tell so much and he looks so.....sad behind the eyes.
Meghan seems to fall out with people so.....easily. Her father, her step-sister, apparently some members of staff when she was newly married.
She also seems to think that she is the first person of colour to join the Royal family. But I think we once had a Queen Charlotte was of African descent.
